well I got to Mass early enough for the rosary. I was informed that the reading had changed. so I passed. did the rosary with the group. then the priest came in and changed the reading back to the one i was going to do. (James 5:1-6) so I had to scramble and had someone close by to tell me when to get to the lectern. (because i was so nervous, i couldn't remember the Mass order.) so we begin the Mass. I go for my reading, and realize that it is a hard one. I make it through the bible passage. step to the side and count to 6 (it was supposed to be 12) and then i read the response. (i don't remember it, i blanked it out) and then i forget what way to get back to my seat, so i take the long way. (there are only two portions of four pews, eight total) but i remembered to bow to the altar before and after the reading. but i almost knock over the wall mounted holy water. Mass continues. we greet each other ("peace be with you") and i find the other priest is sitting behind me! luckily i did not see him, or i would have been even more nervous. partake of the eucharist and get to dismissal. many compliments on the reading, and an offer to join the Sunday reading team. think i'll do some on Monday first. got to talk with the priest who led Mass after. explained it was my 1st reading, that the verse held special meaning for me. (it is about treating the poor justly) I had the Mass dedicated to my late father, late brother and late child. i couldn't stop smiling. i was feeled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. it was great. damn near cried about the whole thing.

thanks for letting me share a very special moment with all of you!

I'm pissed off. Not only am I having problems accessing KW from work (AGAIN) - last two days got that damned 500-internal server error crappo message - BUT the stupid net cafe I had to log into just ditched my first message. I think I need to lie down and forgeddabout this week.\\

gin and tonic sounds good right about now.

I may only be on sporadically until they find the f*ckup in our server. Weird thing is, I've been able to access my other forums (Lost & LOTR) with no dramas.

I smell a conspiracy. And I want blood.

Better yet, make that TWO gin and tonics. And a Sawyer lookalike.

tired. my father-in-law fell last night. five hours later my mother-in-law calls. he is still on the floor! she didn't think to call the cell phone and would not call an ambulence. so we get there. i get him propped up and call the paramedics. he is in the hospital now with a nasty respitory infection. they are both in their 80's.

Sorry to hear that, Sgt. I hope he gets better.

I, for one, am happy that it is Friday afternoon. I am looking forward to the weekend.

Feeling very good. Been writing some of my finest poetry (at least in my mind), as well as my best stories. Made the Dean's Lit at college. Tomorrow morning I'm going to a class to prepare me for my trip to Britain and Italy. Will be looking at how to interpret Renaissance art, etc. So excited!

Just found out I got a job in Greensboro, NC as an MBE Tech (growing and testing semiconductors). Good pay and benefits.

My brain shutdown halfway though your link.
It looks like you're going to be making lightsabers or FTL drives or something?.
Congratulations!

You are so very right. Just re-read a big section of chapter 5 and I'm very happy with it. Still, some work needs to be done on the antagonist.

I FEEL CRAP!...but then again...

So, my computer is on its way out again. I can't believe this! It's suddenly got all buggy, and I can hardly get it to do anything....which is *fantastic* for someone like me who runs an online business. And considering I only got the hard drive replaced 11 months ago. I guess since it had a 12 month warranty it's bound to DIE sometime soon. NOT HAPPY!

But, then again, I did receive an email today which made me feel on top of the world. :S

And then there's this issue I have with Loremaster ( ;) ) who won't tell me his secret! But all I can say is MINE'S BETTER!!!!!

Yeah...sending it would make more sense since my computer probably won't be working soon! But I think you should tell me *now*. That would be much more to *my* liking!

I've thought about reinstalling but at the moment I'm going to let it be....I always worry that when I start tampering I'm just going to cause more problems. I'll wait until my sisters man can come down and have a look at it. I don't have a backup computer so I have to be careful. Without a computer I can't run my business. AHHHHHHHH!
