We really need to
pour the prayers on.... the last two texts I have gotten are below.
Oct 14 -
Hey All, set back w/Tracie...H1N1...lung filling w/fluid, back on vent, temp 103, sepsis still present, awake off & on.
Oct 16
Hey All, Tracie still on vent. Temp 102. In coma again, renal function 50%..tumor still growing. Keep praying please.

Mom's fever broke a little while ago. She's still in the coma, tho. Dad said that they are flooding her with antibiotics to fight both the H1N1 and the sepsis. He sounds so tired.
He told me today that he whispered in her ear that we would all be okay if she couldn't fight anymore and wanted to go. The fever broke a short time later. He says that was her answer. She's not done fighting.
I was listening to a song today by Tracy Chapman...

Mom came out of the coma a couple of hours ago!
Dad sounded so relieved when he called. She still has the vent, her lung still has fluid in it. No fever. He said that her one kidney has completely shut down due to the tumor, which is growing at an alarming pace. But, they can't go in and get it with the H1N1 and sepsis still present. He still wants to bring her back here. Hopefully, once she is off the vent they can.

Vent is out!! Mom is awake and has been talking with Dad
They hope to send her back here tomorrow or the next day, depends on labs for H1N1 and sepsis. They won't move her if she is still positive for H1N1. Once the two infections are gone, they are hoping to do the kidney surgery. They have to do it soon because the tumor is growing so fast. That kidney is no longer functioning.
Keep praying all. And this is from Mom
she loves you all so much!!
