Mom had a rough day, started chemo, which of course made her very sick. Dad said she is sleeping now. On wednesday, they will do radiation treatment.
Please keep the prayers coming.
And, about splitting off the thread, I'm not sure what Mom would want, but I can find out and let you know. Love the title you came up with Menolly.

Thanks for the update, Brooke. Even though it's
I hope she wants to keep it here in this thread. This thread is the reason for some pretty important things. It's brought a lot of people together. At the moment, those people are all together for Tracie. It's certainly not anything anyone imagined would be the case when Tracie started it. But it's what the thread is at the moment. The thread changes. It does what is needed.

I'm easy either way. Was just a thought. Up to Furls anyway. Just seemed somehow a little incongruent coming here to talk about/with Furls.

I haven't heard anything specific. Just a response to a txt yesterday. "She's having a rough day. Very sick." Lots and lots of hugs and love, Tracie!!!

Well, it's scarcely a priority issue now is it?
Ignore this Furls!

Praying for you Tracie. As well as the whole family. I don't write often, but I really love this board. It is so uplifting. Tracie thank you so much for starting this. And just know I'm praying for your full recovery and for your family to have strength during this time.

I'll pass that on to Mom. She's unable to get here from the hospital, they are blocking all social networking sites or anything that
looks like a socail networking site. Dad is trying to find a way around there firewall but he keeps hitting the wall...LOL!

Sorry, I'm slap happy this morning....bad pun
Chemo round 1 is complete, Radiation round 1 part 1 is complete, part 2 today.
Looking at possibly doing a bone marrow PBSC transplant. My Aunt, Uncles, brothers, sisters(biological) and me are all going to be tested as possible donors. Stevie has already told us that he, Uncle Chris and Tristan will be going to see Mommy real soon. Sounds to me like we already have our answer.
As far as the thread split goes, Mom would like to keep everything here. She says "That is where our family lives on the Watch" She did have a request tho. She knows that it will be turning its 100th page soon. So she asks that when it hits page 99 to watch the post count so I can post a journal entry of Uncle Steve's at the turn of its 100th. I'm not sure how many posts make up a page, tho.
Again, and I know we keep saying this, but thank you all so so so very very much for all you are doing to help Mom through this storm. Her strength is only enhanced by your prayers and positive thoughts. God bless you all!

I'm pretty sure post count is 20 per page Brooke...
Av or danlo?
Do either of you know for sure?
~*~edit~*~
yeah, I just looked at the number at the end of the url when I change pages.
Page 94 was 1860.
Page 95 is 1880.
So for page 100, you're watching for the url to say
start=1980, and you'll know after 20 posts on that page, page 100 will start with post 2000.

You mean to say that page 100 will begin with post 2000? That is awesome!!! I'll have to tell Mom that when I talk to her.

Av's on it. I PMed him after Russ and I chatted, and he'll lock the thread at the right time to make sure Brooke gets to it before anyone else does.

I
think page 100 begins with post 2001, but it would be the 2000th
reply to the initial post. If you use the page number 1 to go to the beginning of the thread, the url ends with
start=0. So when it says
start=20 on page 2, it is the 20th
reply to the first post, but the 21st
post in the thread over all.
So if you want to be the 2000th post, it would be the last post on page 99. But if you want to be the first post on page 100, it would be post 2001, but reply 2000.
...hoping that makes sense...

God Bless you Furls....
All the 'stuff' going on in your life right now & this is how your mind is working:

Yeah, I can't believe it either...

Still, maybe it's good...keep her mind occupied.
Anyway, no probs. Y'all may be locked out for a time at the last, or somebody may lose a post if they accidentally get in first, but one way or another it'll be the first post on page 100.
Oh, FireDaughter...you may wanna suggest to your dad that he researches something specifically known as ip tunneling software.

It'll be post 2001 then, she wants it at the top of page 100.
Okay, ummmm...I'll mention that to Dad, I'm sure he knows what ip tunneling software is, sounds like a foreign language to me tho, Av.
Mom is doing okay, talked with her a little bit on the phone this morning. Of course she wanted to make sure we were all okay. She told me that she loved the pics of your new house Fisty, and the one with Christy with all the kids made her miss her babies all the more. But then she said that she has us "surrounding her", pics of all of us are all around her room, and she feels our souls embracing hers.
She says the treatments are hard, but what is worse is the hurt of not being with her family, especially this time of year. The doctors there are saying that if her treatments go well enough, she may be able to come back here for Christmas. Depends tho, her immune system by that time will most likely be nonexistant. We shall see I guess.

Oh, and not only does she have us and the watch on her mind...she's also trying to organize this year's World AIDS Day events from the hospital as well. That's my Mom, she's not going to let little things like chemo, cancer and radiation stop her from doing what's important to her.
Dad is threatening to take her phone away.

It may probably be best. My mom is like that sometimes that she will burn herself out on something unless an outside force (my dad) prevents her. But on the positive note, it's a very telling characteristic

I won't bother with all the pix of rooms. Here's the good one.

Christy's sons and my daughters. (My son can't be bothered checking out the new house.

)
Oh, for those who don't play Pantheon (:haha:), Christy and I bought a house yesterday. After months, MONTHS, of the bank messing with out heads, the closing was yesterday.
