A lot of things seem to be going *right* in my life at the moment. It's a comfortable change from the chaos I usually have to deal with. I feel like I've been waiting for this "moment" in my life for years. I got up this morning and thought "hello today, glad to see you!" Usually I wake up and think "can't I just sleep the day away?!?!" I could get used to living this way, and I'm confident that perhaps there's no reason why things shouldn't remain "like this".

Starting to feel reasonably healthy for the first time in weeks! My ears are starting to drain and I am starting to hear more like normal.

That and I think I'm falling in L...oh no wait I'm much to jaded and cynical to say that...

Seareach, did you forget that it was Monday?
"can't I just sleep the day away?!?!" goes without saying on Mondays. ;)

I feel pretty good.
Still employed.
But still waiting for some kind of ax to fall.
So that's a little stressfull.
Not many call backs on jobs that I've applied too either, which sucks.
But I've been told to only expect 1 for every 20 which is about right so far.
Well, I was pretty good until I started writing this......

Great work, Lore. I've only had a chance to read the first part of it, but it was good.

Well, I'm still euphoric but totally exhausted!

Son of Seareach was given 10 little chocolate easter eggs at playgroup today (brilliant idea by the woman in charge!). So he spent the whole afternoon BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS! What fun!

Blah. Spent two hours on the phone with a friend from college... except I'm still at work, and it's eleven, and I didn't actually get any work done, so I have to do it before I go home. Hopefully that will be before midnight, but not before the parking lot lights go out. I really hope there aren't any hobos in this park....

Also was supposed to make a possibly painful phone call, and couldn't because of friend on phone. Now am starting to chicken out on painful phone call. My fault, though, so I have to fix it, but I wish it would just go away. Worst part is, I saw this coming, and I should never have said "yes" in the first place, but I did, and here we are, and the only way to really "fix" it would have been to never get into it in the first place... Vague, huh?

Good thing this thread's here, or I wouldn't have anywhere else to vent.

Finally... free time!

5 day weekend ahead of me! Woo!

Time to just chill... catch up on my sleeping, reading and gaming... ahhh.

I find that sleeping in my bed is much more satisfying than trying to sleep in a desk.

Had a really bad week - well, it's been a culmination of three weeks of constant pain in my neck & back. It subsequently attacked my thyroid as well. Don't know wtf is wrong yet, but I was in such pain (9.5 on the pain scale) on Monday night that I got a taxi to the hospital ER. They gave me some fine painkillers and a blood test, sent me home to get my next round of tests (ultrasound and X-rays) and I see the doc tonight to find out what the problem is. Hopefully it's something minor. It better be. I hate being incapacitated. A hyper person does not like becoming a slug in little over a week.

Anyways, I wanna wish y'all a happy easter break. I won't be online til next Tuesday night your time (cos I'm not connected to the net at home)
Cya soon!

From this side of Australia, I wish you a safe and happy easter, Elfy.

And my thoughts go to you to get better.

And you won't be able to read this until Tuesday. :/
