Do I know as in, "Was I there when they filmed it?" No. But do I know, as in "I actually liked the movie and learned what I could about it?" Yeah.

Sorry, please don't judge me. I like bad, embarrassing humor.

I dunno. A lot of people I know really liked it.

Then again, I know a lot of simple people.

Sorat's ok, if you're into that sort of thing, but it's certainly no Snakes On A Plane.

That was not a value judgment of anyone who enjoyed the movie.

Just an observation that most of my friends are relatively simple.

Wayfriend, I agree with my brother's taste in movies 99% of the time--especially comedies. He said this was the funniest movie he has seen in many years. He bought the DVD and pushed me to rent it for weeks. I guess you have to just decide for yourself. I wouldn't take it out of the queue , since you'll pay the same amount whether you watch it or not.

Malik,
Waddely, how do you know they were real?
The redneck college students are real because they are pressing charges against Sacha Baron Cohen.

Unless that was staged as well.

The zombie one was better. That made me laugh out loud. And I never laugh out loud. 8)

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

I too could only stomach about 30mins of this movie. Its just not my kind of humour. I think pure comedy rarely works in a movie format.

Give me banter and wit and charm and I'm happy. There was none of that in Borat.

Watching Borat was embarrassing - crude but not crude enough, silly but not silly enough, and not coherent at all.

Lucky for me, I didnt pay to see it :)
