I couldn't get past the "farthest doorknob" part.

I just did the whole thing. Not sure exactly where you are stuck. Click on the doorknob of the leftmost door that is IN the mirror. Then click in the middle of the big door NOT in the mirror, about 1/3 of the way down from the top. Help?

BTW, turn on the sound.

Ok, for some reason this is partially working for me today, but now I can't get past the chime turning into a key part. The chime changes color but the door won't open.

And According to wikipedia, the "hallows" in All Hallows Eve and All Hallows Day means "saints".

deathly = fatal
Hallows = dead saints = ghosts = revenants

You just need to click on the second chime from the right. It changes color - this is actually because it is now a key, seen on edge. Simply now drag the key to the keyhole. So you are actually clicking on the chime twice - click and release to change it into a key, click and drag to move it to the keyhole.

Thanks, I don't know what the problem is, perhaps it's user error, but the key doesn't drag for me. And now a message in the mirror says "Peeves woz ere"

I have had an insight

what if "the deathly hallows" refers to a spell of some sort

Maybe the last horcrux needs to be hallowed in order to be destroyed

However, as with the spell that protected Harry from AVADA KEDAVRA, a life needs to be sacrificed.

And Harry has to do it...

Although, It could also refer to the place where Sirius black went... beyond the veil....

This is all conjecture...

I don't care what the book is called, I just want to get my dirty little hands on a copy of it as soon as possible.

I've often wondered what would have happened if JKR died untimely and suddenly. Thankfully it seems that will not be the case.

We'll get to see the end, and I rate her highly enough that I think it will be stunning.

Stephen King had the same question posed to him whikle he was writing the Dark Tower Series. Infact he had the reverse of the equation happen. A death row inmate wrote him to tell him that he had an "x" amount of time left, and would he please finish the books or tell him what happens before his date arrived! Imagine THAT if you will!

No urban legentd Wayfriend, it was in the news here. The kid was apromising film director, in Jackson's eyes, and Jackson had taken him under his wing if you will.

For some reason I think of 'hallows' as an alternative for 'gallows' - ie where someone is hung. I can't find that meaning on the 'net though! When I first read about the Rowlings site, it made sense that it was a game of hangman that revealed the title.
