It's stopped raining for the second, so I went to my car to get the books. I saw some people struggling to get their cars open, so I took about 15 minutes to scrape the 1/3 inch of ice off of mine--at least in the important parts. That way when my class is done tonight (assuming any brave souls show up) I won't have as much ice to scrape off in the dark.

And my feet are frozen again.
Hold on, I'm contacting a Clear to get an OT VIII to warm your feet. I'm too drained to go Super Saiyajin 3 and do it myself.
It was freakin' cold here yesterday. Miserably cold. Now-I-remember-why-I-don't-live-in-the-Midwest-any-more cold.
I walked out the door this morning and thought, "Ah! Spring is coming! I can feel the warmth returning!" Got in the car, fired it up, and saw the thermometer -- 28 degrees.
So that's how cold it was yesterday: Today's 28 degrees feels like a heat wave.

Topic? We were having a conversation about something other than the weather? *looks innocent*
Everything here is icy. . . I took a few pictures before making my way into work. I am hopeful that I can get a few more when it's getting closer to dark and the contrast is better. Right now the sky is white-grey and there's light snow flurries.
I really want to take snow pictures, too, but every weekend for the past month or so has just been too bloody cold to enjoy the outdoors. The days that we had good weather for photography, I was stuck at work. Grrrr.
Well. . . I practically froze in order to get out to the park and get a few shots on the way home. I'm still cold an hour later! But I think I got a few good ones. . . I'll post a few in the photography thread.
I think this is the most wind I've seen ever. Darn near two weeks of windstorms lately, and it's starting to freak me out. I REALLY don't want to lose power again. That sucks.
