The most horrible death

Gotta vote for Lebbick here. The man is never vindicated... He dies, never having lost faith in his King, and never having it rewarded

I chose Master Quillon, his death was so unexpected and sudden, and I felt that he hadn't reached his full potential - everything he had done so far had been done in secret.
The Perdon suffered a dreadful death, but we only saw the aftermath, not the actual deed. The Tor died nobly, he would have died anyway because of the wound he received from Garth, and he made a decision to die usefully. Poor Lebbick's was the saddest death; he died unresolved. Eremis' death was just perfect.

I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

I went with the Castellan. I can't imagine such devotion, and how painful it must be to warp yourself into such a mockery of what you were, shaping yourself by your pain, only to die unused and betrayed by yourself and your king.
I’m not afraid of Death. What’s he going to do, kill me?

I voted for Master Quillon. I'm with matrixman, Mysteweave, Cambo, and Iolanthe in that Master Quillon's death was the most disturbing for me as a reader. Quillon was very supportive in giving information to Terisa about the history of Mordant, saved Terisa and Geraden during the summoning of the champion, was King Joyse's right-hand man in the Congery, and was very supportive of Terisa when she had her emotional breakdown in the dungeon. Considering what a nervous type he was, he showed great fortitude in riding out to warn the Prince that the catapults were going to be destroyed. Plus, Quillon was modest and self-effacing, something that made him a perfect choice as the King's secret ally. His death was a real letdown for me.
But as far as the death I would least like to experience, that would be the the Perdon's ...*shudder*
