Wait, wait, wait. Hero?
You're working for the Aesir?!

I'm glad I went up and talked to the drummer of my FAVORITE BAND EVER last night.
Sweet boy.

...took typing class. Typing was the only useful skill I got out of school. Frankly, it sickens me that I must give the school system any credit at all for anything good in my life, but I can't deny that being a decent typist is useful.

I'm glad I randomly decided to major in education my freshman year instead of coming into college "undecided". I think I made the right choice, and I'm enjoying most of my classes so far, especially the ones in which I get to teach.

Interesting point. Maybe I should take a typing class. My typing speed isn't bad, but I type in a very haphazard home-grown style, and as a result there are some words I almost can't type at all.
I'll add that to Welsh on my list of extra classes to take next year.

i am glad i took typing in high school. even though i only got a 40 in the class. which was unfair. i did learn to type. i was just not fast enough.

I think my final grade for typing was 77, which was decent, if not wickedly awesome. In terms of typing speed, I think I peaked around 35-40 words-per-minute at the time. Since then, I've never timed myself, but I think my speed has improved. Being a regular poster here no doubt helped. However, I still have trouble with the top row of number keys.

Heh, the top row is all I can use. A lot of people give me a 'do you rave?!' look when they discover that.

I'm glad I don't, because not looking at the keyboard means I can type and do other things at the same time.

i am multi-tasking right now. talking with you, typing a poem when not here and burning stuff onto my mp3 for tomorrow.
