Back in high school in Wichita Kansas at that magical age where you could get into R rated movies, buy porn, etc, but can't get into regular bars, seeing Rocky Horror was the thing to do on weekends. In fact, I met my now ex-wife there.
But yeah, I played several roles throughout my time, but often Riff due to the fact that I had long hair, although no baldness (I put my hands over that part of my head to simulate). I was occasionally Frankie. It was a good time.
Thankfully, in Wichita, they didn't require you to dress as the part though, as I never did.

I thought I had misread when I saw the title of this thread!
I'm speechless! How in the world could they even think this is a good idea?!?!?!

The original was a bad idea. A remake can only be worse.
I agree with Malik. Time to stop doing it piecemeal; just remake everything, ever. Including the existing remakes. The third version of The Wicker Man should be interesting.

I don't see a problem in Remaking this.
And I LOOOOVE Rocky Horror.
Not only live; I've rented tohe movie numerous times, and have two different copies of the soundtrack.
But its over thirty years old, its a popular film, why not refilm it?
Why not have some newer stars get to perform these classic parts?
Little SHop of Horrors was remade Twenty Five years Later, and was excellent.
