Thanks, Luci.
Aesir is the name of the pantheon of which Odin was the Allfather.
There's another difference between Pantheon and Aesir. Remember, these differences are usually because this is my first time GMing
anything so I need things to move at a pace I can manage.
Let's say the Goddess of Earth has a few villages on continent A. If she raised a huge mountain near them, they'd be all kinds of impressed, yeah? "See the power of our Goddess!!!"
Now suppose she raised that mountain on continent B. Her followers on continent A can't see it. They won't even know it exists if she doesn't tell them. If she
does tell them, they might say, "Sounds cool. Wish I could see it." But it wouldn't strengthen their faith. Meanwhile, she doesn't
have followers on continent B. People there will surely be amazed. Awed, terrified, whatever. They'll surely wonder what power caused this to happen. But they never heard of this actual goddess.

OK, folks, my next post is a map for Aesir. Two things to bear in mind:
1) I will make a real map, worthy of Xar, as soon as he, or anybody else, tells me how.
2) Making fun of the Somefather is a very risky way of playing Aesir!

And behold, unto the people was revealed, He Who Is Wisdom, the Lorekeeper, known amongst the divine as Serloth. For all of knowledge was his domain, and unto Man he gifted intellect, that they might partake of his bounty, and grow strong. For there is no knowledge that is not Power.

So then... *clears throat and looks around to see who's laughing*
The little red dots are villages. Plenty of room for geographical isolation. Islands, a desert, a couple of big forests, a big lake, a couple of big rivers that join to become a bigger river with a nice delta, a big mountain range cutting the eastern continent in half, another smaller mountain range just east of (and I suppose responsible for) the desert, a huge gulf...
The villages are not the only ones. There's plenty. Let me know where you want to begin the game, and where the first villages you're looking to take are. I'll put them in, and some more in the vicinity.

Someone has already picked a village. (And I like the enthusiasm!

) Of course, any village has to be converted to your worship. If nobody else goes for the same place, no problem. But what if someone does? Should I let the involved parties know that they're both going for the same place? I could easily make another village nearby, but there's still a good chance they'll immediately be at odds. That's gonna happen eventually, intentionally or not. But I think everybody should be able to establish themselves in the opening turns. What's everybody think?
Anyway, everybody pm me with what village you're going after first. You'll tell me
how you're going after it in Turn 1. But for now, I'll see how many are going after the same place, without anyone seeing where anyone else is wanting to be.
