Oh yeah? So complete this sentence for me : "Do not {insert your words here} when stating the name of a Sandgorgon is enough."
I have an scepter of true wood, this allows me to see through your deceptions. It was YOU who said that, not me.

But how do we know we're not calling Sandgorgons all the time? Sandgorgon Kev, Sandgorgon Is, Sandgorgon Appreciated

Tch, don't try to out-silly
me, mister!

You have to KNOW that its the name of a Sandgorgon, you know.
The only reason you lot of poorly trained masochists have survived thus far is because you think its all a big joke, and hence aren't really aware of the dangers of speaking that name.
One day, someone's gonna be in an entirely accepting state of mind, and drop the name ... and then it'll be all over, Red Rover!
Warned yer. Told yer twice.

I don't think typing Nom is quite the same thing as saying his name. Of course I don't think it applies now that Nom is free. Nom. Oh and one other thing Nom.

good point, nom is free so his name doesn't actually effect him... kayreyn is dead, so technically so should all his works, including sandgorgon's doom. which makes his "imprefection" of the gorgon's naming irrelivent...
landwaster, you worry over nothing

There you go, Landwaster. Now you're exercising your observational powers.

Impossible. "nom"
means "name".
nom de plume
nom de voyage
nom de guerre

That's a pretty cool point that I never thought of, Joy. Another word that means "name" is n**enclature!
