LOL! +10. His pecs were put to shame, too.
I believe I listed Rocky in my top 5 movies in another thread. Even the cliches worked in that flick. And the unrealistic boxing is of course a non-issue. As I mentioned elsewhere, for me the best part was his struggle for accomplishment. Not about winning the fight. Not about proving anything to anyone except himself. I will no doubt misquote and have snipped some of it out, but my favorite line is his "midnight confession" to Adrian in which he says "I can't beat him. ... All I want is to be there, standing, at the end, and know that I wasn't just some bum from the neighborhood." And of course this is played out at the end when he doesn't even listen to the judges' decision being announced. Well done.
Rocky II has the aspect of Adrian's coma and is almost as good as the first movie in my mind. III and IV have their moments for me but fall short of the first two. To each their own of course, but I found V to be very poor (minor MINOR exception is the scene with his recollection of Mick.) Watched it once and that will do. After that big disappointment I was incredibly surprised by VI. Great new angle on the story. Really enjoyed the "where are they now" side plot as well.
The rumor going around was that Stallone was going to make 2 more Rocky and 2 more Rambo installments while he was still juic ... er, I mean, still in shape. I can't see the quality of either continuing but who knows? I will likely give them at least one viewing before passing judgment.

Just saw Rocky III again the other night.
Hadn't seen it in years.
I liked it but it's still probably my least favorite after V.
There's no epic training scene.
There's a little but it's ruined by that run on the beach with Apollo where I expected them to start making out.....
Other than that though the story's pretty solid.
Rocky actually didn't block punches with his face like a dope (well, for the most part).
I also thought Mr T did a god job.
I remembered him being a more silly character.
