Even if you get them in here, they're not gonna agree! (Nice "fnord" usage, Orlion!)

A voting groundswell
Sudden rush of Other votes
Overwhelms the rest
Is this the result
Of encouragement elsewhere
Seeking GT votes?
I think otherwise
Perhaps it is Galley fans
Maybe Summonsing
There's no way to know
Unless voters post preference
Other's just "Other"

Well, I did post in GT Talk regarding this.
Perhaps some of those GT Purists decided to vote without actually
posting otherwise?

Depressingly, I don't think I've posted in a Thomas Covenant/SRD-related forum in literally years. I just Wikipedia'd
Against All Things Ending the other day to see when it comes out.

For what it's worth I will read it immediately when it comes out, as I've done with the past two novels. Anyway, the Tank is awesome.

Do each of those non-posting votes count as a post? That's what I wanna know. Because each of those GT fanatics has at least two or three aliases, and if each one votes...

Then GT should have its own category to be voted for, eh?
None of the other categories require the voters to comment.
...yeah, yeah, I'm bitter about it being grouped in with "Other."

Yes it is. Unfortunately, even for the most verbose among us, there is only so much you can say about SRD and the books.

SRD brought us here, but it's the other forums which keep us coming back all the time.
(Now if I could just get those windbags outta the 'Tank to vote...)

Ummmm...Av...You're working against the Tank by bumping up the posts count here

Same here, though I add a topic or two to the TC forum every five or so years.

Hey, I was the first one to vote for the Tank! You're mis-representing me, that's a logical fallacy, you're just adding your fnord spin on things, How dare you quote a source without commentating! That's not arguing! etc, etc, etc

Sin wrote:Ummmm...Av...You're working against the Tank by bumping up the posts count here...

1 post here, 10 in the 'Tank, I think I balanced it out.
Good point about the GT alt's though. I declare a rigged election. (Anyway, we don't know what the "other" is. It could be lots of people each meaning a vote for a different obscure forum.

No post, no count.)

Of course it's a rigged election.
Anyhow, I'm undercutting my own efforts by posting in the Tank. Bad ali! No donut!

I voted the tank because that is where I go, even though I feel like I care more about certain discussions I've had in the gap thread, in Gen Sci fi.

I'm pretty sure I post the most in the Tank, but the SRD specifics are the ones that really matter [and what I voted for].
Yes, that means exactly what it seems to mean: Non-fictional [heh..usually] Tank is my entertainment value, Fictional [SRD] is meaning and purpose.
