...or else we'll track you down!

'Tis dream to think that Reason can

Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all!

Well, I stepped away from posting Kabbalah wisdom here after my posts and those of the thread's originator seemed to short-circuit each other's intended progressions...but I still have something to say.
(Yes, none who know me ever believed any different...)
Let us not approach this discussion as debate with points to be made and a win or loss at stake. Kabbalah is considered mystic, but it is not purely that. Belief or Unbelief need not be a litmus test. Individual thoughts or sequences of sayings can be freely discussed without there being an atmosphere of contention.
This is not the Tank!

If there was one thing Mom believed in that over shadowed everything else, it was that Love is Divine.Menolly wrote:...Love means connectedness. Fear means disconnectedness.
Fear destroys love.
Love tames fear.

For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--

There would be times when Mom would actually groan aloud when she would read the turn some of the threads in here would take. At times, it did mirror the tank.Avatar wrote:Guess who hasn't read back through posts of years past huh?Savor Dam wrote:This is not the Tank!

Since the latest one seemed to strike a chord, a little further teaching on the subject.
Rav DovBer Pinson wrote:We are unique in our ability to verbally communicate and converse. Creation comes into existence through Speech. A spiritual vibration and movement within the Infinite give rise to physical vibration of energy which eventually is solidified as matter. The power of human speech below mimics the incredible power of speech Above. We are constantly creating our reality with the words we use, lets use them wisely.
Laibl Wolf wrote:A Spiritual Monet
The art student studies the Monet in awe and amazement. The exchange of light and shade; the subtle swirl of the brush; the uplifting spirit tinged with a hint of mystery – pathways to a spiritual experience that has enthralled connoisseur and idle doodler alike.
Every delicate and understated expression of a master is laden with deliberateness – layers of unfolding truths. An oft repeated Hassidic tale speaks of a student who stealthily slips under the bed of his master just to observe how sleep-mastery is expressed.
The sleeping giant we call world is a labyrinth of discovery – not just lateral discovery of the lands and continents, flora and fauna, topography and seismic activity, but also a vertical dimension – personality, motivation, fulfillment and love. The fourth dimension invites the spiritual searcher into an elaborate crystal dewed web of energetic Sefirotic forces that coagulate and discharge like an ever-changing cosmic chameleon. Here too lies mastery – Divine mastery, a spiritual Monet extrapolated into an unimaginably complex tapestry of universal art.
The student of life must lie at night under the Master’s bed staring at the enormity of the star studded canopy above. The enormity of a star’s energy – its pulsating ebb and flow of solar might, hinted only in its twinkle to the naked eye. And yet, that same energy, and more, lies embedded, like a coiled spring, in the smallest particle of matter. And beneath that tiniest particle – the equivalent of the same spiritual thrust that launched creation.
In the same way that every cell of the body contains the whole, so does every particle contain the Cosmos and the creative energy that launched the ever expanding big-bang. And that galactic explosion was birthed by the still small voice – the embryo of first creative breath that emitted the primordial sounds: "Yehi Ohr" (let there be the [creative]light). (Menolly's input: my interpretation is this is the Jewish version of ॐ.)
We may be mere mortals, blind to the enormity of the brush strokes of creation. But within each one of us stirs the potential appreciation of a true connoisseur. We may be only peeking over the shoulder of the Artist at work. But life provides us with glimpses of immense beauty, pattern, and unending depth latent within moment of now, an echo of what was, and a hint of what will be.
Life has to be lived – with depth and consciousness. What a loss to run frenetically from self imposed crisis into personal morass, from artificial busy-ness to superficial socialization. Spend time looking over the Artist’s shoulder, peer through His eyes. Discover the wonderment of the dynamic art we call conscious, sentient life.

As I have said before, take what you will from these. I like most of this next one. But the last sentence sits ill with me...
Perhaps I am confusing pride with ego. I know I have seen apes strutting their stuff for example. The sun's sojourn from east to west is its way of bowing down to the Infinite.
Nature is humble.
Only people display ego.
