Was the DeathStar the ultimate power in the universe or not?

Talk about both the movies and the books.

1.)The Force is the Ultimate power in the Universe.

Being able to control someones mind means anything made by man can be controlled by Using the Force... i.e.... The Death Star would easily be able to be conquered by controlling the man controlling the machine.

And as for not seeing the ultimate power of the Force, the Force of one individual is only as powerful as the mind of said individual..

therefore until someone with a monstrous superb brain comes along , or they begin using the force as a collective, we won't see anyone blowing up planets or destroying an entire fleet by themselves,

But that doesn't mean it can't be done.
That all seems pretty reasonable to me. "monsterous superb brain" eh? I'm guessing the Star Wars universe probably has one or more of those.
Look out! :-)

I have a superbly monstrius brain, but I have never deemed it necessary to try and conquer the Force with it.

Better a monster brain than an abby-normal one, Frankenpuss.

Revan is going to delete all of these posts. Trading barbs isn't constructive I hear.

Whatever. I guess I should say something constructive then, like "bring me those 2x4's and a bucket of nails, pronto!"

Also, I'd like to post something on-topic. The Death Star is not the ultimate power in the universe, the Hydro-spanner is.

Okay then. By your reasoning George Lucas is the most destructive force in the universe.

Yes. And the most constructive, too. George Lucas is, in effect, the Force.

...seriously, Jar-Jar's nomination of Palpateen probably will cause more destruction than any other single act in SW.
