I'm pretty sure that most people here who've met me will say I'm pretty much the same offline as I am on.

of all the peeps I've met from the watch, none have turned out to be any different to me in person than they were online.

....oh...well...ok, I thought wayfriend would be taller. :P ;)

I think you're way more fun in person.

You're kidding, right? Cause I know I, for one, never asked myself that about you. :P

As as I stated somewhere else, I prefer the garrotte.

Good! My other (actual) son knows not to swear in my presence.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Dude knows his drugs, after all.

I think every Watcher I've met in RL has been pretty much who I expected them to be, personality-wise.

You know what I find kind of entertaining at E-fests? Normally, when you're in a crowd of people and you hear someone call out a name that's not yours, you don't turn your head. Right? But almost always, at an E-fest, people respond when you call them by their Watch name. I mean, if I were out at some random place and someone yelled, "Hey, Ali!" I wouldn't think twice about responding. But with you guys, it's automatic.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. ;)

And yeah, sorry, you're all your Watch names to me, even though I know a lot of your real names, I still think of you as Ali or whoever.

You guys crack me up!

I was thinking specifically about the 1 and only time I've met Brinn back in 2005. We were sitting next to each other at a poker table at the Foxwoods Casino, and he told me of his wife's concerns that he was going to play cards with some guy from the Internet. As I recall, her exact words were, "What if he's an ax murderer?" Thus, the legend began. ;)

Ha! Sounds like the time I arranged a gathering of internet friends, including my two kids. My daughter, a teen at the time, told her classmates she was going to meet some friends from the internet. Her friends cautioned her to be careful and solicitously asked, "Does your mother know about it?" My daughter responded, "My mother's arranging it!
