Oh no you don't. If I'm going to hit double my average, I expect 2-point-something from you. Per day. Come back and argue about it and you'll already be halfway there.

sorus- I think you should repeatedly provoke him.

Also, sorus, sign me up for 5 ppd, (posts per day) which is:
28*5 = 30*5 - 10 = 150-10 = 140 ppm (posts per month) for this month.
Unless it's a leper.. erm, leap-year.
Is it, guys?

Also, the other Tank people don't know about our contest, do they?
I think they would be quite competitive and..

10K would be more fitting with the Watch reaching a million and all, but I might settle for 5K.

My point was that I generally steer clear from the two-word stuff.

If that's what others want to post, that's fine. I'll either keep it to myself or expand on why I think something's good.

I posted about it in the 'Tank, in the "Latest News" thread. :D

I might mention it again. ;)

Whoops, my bad!
I mis-read you as having said the opposite of what you actually did say about whether you just post "good post."
(I make that error with people regularly.)

I haven't seen many of your posts lately, and sometimes people's posting habits change over time.

So my internal logic went:
"Darn, he's just doing 'good post' posts over there off in the Tank?"
"That must mean he's tired of typing out detailed analyses and stuff, and so he's just skimming through what people say and encouraging arguments or styles of arguing that he sees as good or effective.")

Thank you for clarifying.

Somewhat off-topic, (unless it usefully generates more posts) but if you have time, who in the Tank is fairly interested in history?
Like, 4th and 5th century A.D.?

Start a post in there and ask, Linna. Or else in Doriender Corishev. ;)

Its my Augustine thread in Dor. Corishev I was thinking about, but then I never really started it off content-wise. (Because I'm just reading the content now. But his autobiography... I am enjoying.)

Edit: "started off," not "started of"
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."

Um, 2868 (had to submit to find out then edit to finish!). None so far this month I think. Sorry, been very busy, no time to do much else. I'll try!
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!
