Yeah, but wouldn't you deny it if it was true?

Ode to Peter Jackson

Oh Peter Jackson
There are no words
for the grtatitude I feel
for these movies of
my favorite fantasy books
You did them justice
and made it look cool
and I cried like a baby
Thank you for your warm
handling of the movie
I saw last night
Bless you! Bless you!
Forever and forever
You rad little hobbit man, you.

Darth, I have heard that Saruman's end and the Houses of the Healing and the Eowyn/Faramir romance will be among the many things that will be included in the extended edition. Jackson just wasn't able to put them in the theatrical release due to time constraints. The movie was very long as it was -- I know both times I saw it I was doing a pee pee dance in my seat by the end of the film.
I loved the films and thought them to be true to the spirit of the books. 8) I am looking very much forward to seeing the extended edition and seeing all of the goodies they had to leave out. :D

And ROTK has heart and intimacy: it's not simply hollow, big budget entertainment. But hey, it's a free country: I certainly defend Lord Revan's right to disagree with popular opinion.

Good lord, I'm moving to the Dark Side...

By the way, like your new pic, dANOMITE! Yes, Jimmy Walker lives!
I always tend to go in the oppisite direction of the crowd...

Well that's good news... I hope the extended version will be better than the original version.

Just to be sure, I want to ask a question. Revan, you're not watching the animated version, are you?

It was the style Bakshi intended. To be honest, I prefer the animated film to Jackson's films.

It is good, but as I've said many times before, I'm not that big a fan of LOTRs.
