I too would be curious to know which episode you watched. I'm wondering whether I will be shocked that you saw the most exciting episode ever filmed and still found it boring or if you watched the most boring episode ever filmed.

Hilarious!!!I think each seems to fill in the gaps of the other. What one is lacking the other posseses. However there aren't many times while watching SW that I sit there and say "Gosh I wish Luke could transport up to the ship."

Well I voted for Star Wars...I think it has a deeper storyline and grittier feel. But I love Star Trek too....hmmmm It's so hard to choooooose!!!!
......arghhhhh...

.....i love star trek it is the greatest....nothing can compare......you will agree...prepare to be assimilated......

Gee...
Star Wars - soap opera, in a futuristic / sf setting.
Star Trek - groundbreaking, innovative vision of the future, dealing with issues relevant to the present day in a gritty, realistic manner, through great characterisation and fantastic storylines.
Whatever shall I choose...

I too am curious as to which one it was.Darth Revan wrote: I watched my first Trek episode yesterday...
I'm very open to correction here, but for some reason I think that towards the end, Roddenberry was letting his protegé's take turns at directing them, and hence the varying quality.
I can't watch any of the originals without wincing at the cheesy effects and dialogue, but some of the other series, NG, DS9 and Voyager were excellent on the whole.
You should try Encounter at FarPoint Darth. The pilot show was made in two parts, and they seperated the Saucer section. How's that for an ambitious pilot?
I voted for both BTW.

Please stop being so rude to Jar Jar. I find it most distressing. I liked Jar Jar Binks in the first one, he was cool.Lord Foul wrote:Amen.GullibleJohnny wrote:And Jar Jar Binx sucks knobs.

OMG!!!Haruchai wrote:Please stop being so rude to Jar Jar. I find it most distressing. I liked Jar Jar Binks in the first one, he was cool. Also, the Ewoks were not bad either, so cut them some slack. They were the highlight of the last movie...ok, maybe not, but they weren't that bad.

This post is offensive... If I had any decency at all I would be deleting it right now... This is disgusting...

Haruchai... I can't believe you thought Jar jar and the Ewoks were a good thing... I won't be able to sleep tonight. In face I'm certain I'm sleeping now... nowhere but in my most horrid, darkest maggot infested dreams would I find a Ewok and Jar Jar fan...

You missed me you silly git.
Darth, how can you be so mean? Poor Jar Jar. The poor Ewoks. I love them. The Ewoks are so cute and so funny. Jar Jar was a bit annoying in the Clone Wars, but he was pretty funny in The Phantom Menace. Have a sense of bloody humour.
