and tonight was a great episode. i would like less flashback and more island. but the wanting more is good, the show just doesn't sit there. it gets you involved.

Tell me about it. I must have put two bullets in my television myself, just trying to snuff that bad guy!

One word: NUMBERS! Damm! :faint: Tonight's show completely blew me away! Things finally started to make sense, however, they raised 4 times more questions than before! 8O :? :? :? :? :?

Yeah, the numbers thing blew me away. Last week's was good, too; "You messed up my ride, chief" was a great line!

They just started airing LOST here too, I have seen up till episode 12 so far. And I was just going to inform you that Mira Furlan (from Baylon5) was in it until I realised it was here allready, hidden under a spoiler... I just think it is "just perfectly-enough-creepy". The island seem to have a mind of its own, like some kind of limbo on the way to afterlife. And a lot of people have died or almost died and then come back, just a little bit altered I think... But since you are probably at least one season ahead of me, I suppose I wont add much to this debate really. Just wanted to say I liked it.

I think here in the US we have seen all of 16 episodes, so you're closer to us that you think.

Actually, counting the 2 hour Pilot as two episode, we have seen 20 episodes, and the final 5 hours (Last episode of Season 1 will be 2 hours) start next week May 4 (Then 11, 18 and 25 for the 2 hour finale). Mira Furlan is returning again (she's in episode 18 as well) for the one hour on May 18, and the 2 hours on May 25.

You can't count the 2-hour pilot as 2! That's cheating!

Okay, call it 19, if that makes you happy, but ABC is calling it 20. So you still got the 6 upside down ;) :P

That's why I hestitate to call the last 5 hours, as 5 episodes, since it's 4 episodes, one of which is 2 hours long.

So.....there'll be either 23 or 25 episodes this year, depending on what constitutes an episode. Or 57 episodes, if you count the reruns. :D

LOL. Actually, as far as weeks go, there's really only been 11 weeks (3 weeks 3 times + 2 weeks 1 time) without a new episode, which really isn't bad for 25 hours of new stuff. Alot of TV series, you'd get 11 weeks worth of reruns in only 12 or 14 new episodes.

Tonight's episode is apparently a montage of selected characters flashbacks, shown in chronological order, but, they also say something new will be revealed about the island, so there may be a new clip as well as the rerun flashbacks. Additionally, seeing the flashbacks in chronological order may bring something new to light, or to mind, so, don't dismiss the episode out of hand simply because it's a retread of flashbacks we've seen already.

I have missed one episode, and it's the one they won't rerun! where the boat is set on fire.

That's not as bad as the one I missed Dennis. I missed the one where Boone got into the yellow plane and got injured. We had it taped, and it got recorded over by mistake before we watched it.

Here's a link to the synopsis of the episode you missed, if you're interested.

I missed either 1 or 2 episodes. I definitely missed the one where the 2 guys fought over the watch.

2 hour season finale in 2 days! It's going to be awesome! :R

So, no one watched the finale or wants to post? eh? I'll run the risk of a double post then---- -you don't know what you're missing--it was freaky, a little bit of everything huge black smoke, a slaving ship from Mozambique, the plane was from Nigeria, beware the Our Lady of...Charlie! Hurley running through the airport at top speed, "others", monsters yanking Locke into the ground and even a former Nash Bridges co-star blown sky high...and I won't even mention what happens on the raft. Numbers you say? Buttloads of numbers. 8) What a coolass show--I'll be going through withdrawals until halfway through football preseason.

I totaly agree, danlo. LOST is by a wide margin my favorite new show. "I heard them whisper they were coming for the boy." Wow. We had no idea until it happened. What a heartbreaker ending. LOST ROCKS!!!!!! :-) "Uh, Dude you have some Arnt on you."
