How about a strangely dressed woman? It might make a difference to me.
In either case, I think I'd politely decline the offer. Having read Mordant's Need I'm inclined to avoid such perils.

Now I would have thought that TWL would be a little more stern warning sign. Mordant is actually a place I could have liked. At least I think so.

I'd have to agree at the outset but things started going south pretty quicky depending on which character you were in the story. I would have liked to arrive in suit of advanced battle armor if I'm going to go at all.
