If you go to Japan you can get whale-burgers and dolphin meat. There's an international ban on whaling, except for limited scientific research, which the Japanese are flouting outrageously and Norway and Iceland (I think) never signed. Dolphins and other small sea mammals are not included. They're protected in some nations but not in others, so I suppose it depends on where you go.

I'll share anything if it's necessary to be polite, but generally I'm too lazy to offer. There's really no food I feel very possessive of, except maybe steak & cheese, and green chili burgers. It'd usually have to be a big sub or burger for me to share. :D

"For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat two".

My favorite T-shirt.

You'd have to really be starving for me to share ribs with you. My nickname at work and on other forums is Plato'ribs.

I might, just might be tempted to try whale one day, simply because killer whales eat other whales, and hey, if they as highly intelligent animals are gonna eat other highly intelligent animals, why can't I?

What if you tried dolphin and it was the tastiest, most succulent thing you could ever imagine eating, something you had only imagined ever eating in a dream? What if you had to spend the rest of your life just trying to get by between dolphin fixes? The only motivating factor in your life being the thought, the hope of quenching your taboo obsession?

Why don't you go diving and bite a chunk out of one?

Or a wiser action still would be to have it cooked. - The advantage being you won't die of food poisoning.

There's only one food that I don't like sharing, that's my special cheesey toast!

Bread - covered with branston pickle (uk-only?), then sliced cheddar cheese, then on top of cheese - capers, olives, garlic, cherry tomatoes, jalepeno peppers, worcestershire sauce. Then under the grill.

The thing is, if you've done the toppings right, the bite that someone else takes might have the only olive on that bit! It's holistic cheese-on-toast, all or nothing, and my girlfriend has learned that I will share anything, but if she wants some cheesey toast, she asks me to make her a whole one to herself!

I'll share anything with anyone as long as they don't have nasal seepage.

dear god, how wrong. Any kind of seepage or glandular eruption is a no-go-er in my books. However I would share...I just wouldn't have the stuff back after. Bless all eruptors out there.
