And what is the customary observance of Vain Day? I'm not too familiar with the proper way to celebrate that one.

Be careful what you inquire about, first!

I know, that may really be opening Pandora's box, but, I couldn't help but ask.

Something seems to come over the men of the Watch. . . it must be just about Spring, since it seems that young men's thoughts are turning to love.
So just about anything could turn into a Pandora's box.

First a shaved kitty, now Pandora's box.
Okay, headcount time. Who is coming over to my place tomorrow?

LOL - you raise a very valid point . . . . so if it's unavoidable anyway, do we still tread with caution?

It's a day that makes Vain (and his woman) happy is all you need to know on that subject

Valentine's is cancelled at the drew household, due to children in hospitals and the like.
It'll be better if we wait till next week anyways...payday and all.
The plan is to bring home a boatload of sushi, and tickets to
Hawksley Workman playing in town next month.
I don't buy flowers --ever. They die. I buy plants instead.

Oh, and I meant to ask again, how many are coming for dinner? At last count, one.

Okay, nobody came.
I didn't see one of you at my house. I had my pimp outfit on and everything. And I made a lot of walnut pesto manicotti. I guess I'll just have to eat it all myself. Well, the girlfriend will help, I'm sure. And we'll continue to enjoy the wine and the boston cream cake with cherries on top. Harrumph!

I was unavoidably delayed. Everything sounds wonderful, so I'm sure it wasn't a burden to have to eat it yourself.

I got stuck in traffic. Sorry Cag. But don't worry, it doesn't mean I don't love you.

Oh! Oops!
...but you know we love you, right?
