At any rate, I'm going to stick with outer space, since it makes sense. (Even if it's probably not a good idea.)
We were halfway past Saturn when Bob decided to put the top down for a better view of the rings. The resulting legal kerfuffle saw the Tesla Cruiser convertible banned from Earth all the way to Proxima Centauri...
If nothing else, I was right about Tesla sending a convertible into space.

You're ok with this Sor? Trust me something good will come of this

Yeah time is not discriminatory ... mmm .. or is it? When there's not much happening it drags .. when you're flat out it flies
... very intriguing

ugh I'm aching all over .. I got that veggie plot dug over and planted 14 mature tomato plants and a few other things.
But the dirt is so hard - I have blisters on my blisters and I'm completely filthy - would love a relaxing bath but have looked high and low and cant find a plug ..
It did rain today but barely penetrated the surface let alone got any deeper - so I had to wheelbarrow water out to the plot and the front wheel was flat .. so just exhausting
I'll have to shower .. but I really want a bath to soak my aching muscles... apart from feeling completely and utterly knackered .. its good to have got this job done..
Oh well I'll have to wait till Sunday for a bath
Yet one more 1st world problem LOL

Sounds like fulfilling work, though.
I hope my burgeoning mutant superpowers eventually allow me to predict the winning lottery numbers. It might help if I checked the winning lottery numbers. Also, I didn't buy a ticket. So much for that idea.

Y'all are a riot!
I am having a good day... we have piles of snow. It's amazing.
I did school with the kids. We got some stuff done.
My son made mashed potatoes, and when I told him we had a 2nd bag of potatoes, he was so excited that he made a second batch. (we don't cook potatoes that way often.)
I don't remember why I'm so excited today, but I am.
Avatar- coups beget coups, yo.

I still want to win but dont want to HAVE to buy a ticket!!
Thats not as crazy as it sounds .. I'm in a syndicate group so hey .. still a possibility

Yeah it was satisfying doing all that work .. but still feeling exhausted ..
What do I feel today?
The weather's been great today 26C .. nice and mild .. so I was getting ready to leave where I'm working .. only to discover I'd made a fatal error .. I dont leave today - I leave tomorrow night
Its great cos I am with the best dogs ever .. and one of the two cats I'm caring for is super cuddly.. so that's nice .. and I can't imagine how .. but I seem to have lost one of the doggy bowls! So strange .. its presenting quite a frustration to me

Probably fell into another dimension. Like where missing socks go. My cats are fond of ping-pong balls. My local hardware store sells them in 8-packs. I have bought 2 8-packs. We currently have zero ping-pong balls. I live in a teeny studio. There is nowhere for them to go except under the couch. They aren't under the couch. There is absolutely no rational explanation for their disappearance. Except cats smacking them right into a parallel dimension.Skyweir wrote:.. and I can't imagine how .. but I seem to have lost one of the doggy bowls! Well I found the dog bowl - two days I spent wondering where the hell that bowl might be .. only this morning to realise one was stacked inside the other!!
Yes I feel like a real bonafide goose

Today is another nice day - more storms on the way ..
I'm feeling pretty good today - even slept in (first really good sleep I've had in 12 days). No one was that happy about it

So another big day today ... but hahahaha .. no more digging over clay for me baby!! Everything is picking up beautifully - these plants were pot bound, brown and dying .. now they are all alive and growing. I knocked up a trellis for the tomatoes to climb on and lift them off the ground ..
Happy days

Yes, we are homeschooling both kiddlings this year.Skyweir wrote:Are you homeschooling your tiddlywinks Linna?
I love mashed taters!! Of course he was excited - they're awesome!!
Next year, we are sending one of them - maybe even both! - to public school.
If both, that would be the first time I've had them both away all day!

Mmmmm. Yes, we do & I looove its texture.Skyey wrote:Take a tip from Av and mash them with greek yoghurt
Oh do you guys have greek yoghurt in the US??
But... I know how things work in our fam... it would be plain yogurt, if anything!
hidden in plain sight... nuthin' I haven't done myself, and worse.skyweir wrote:Well I found the dog bowl - two days I spent wondering where the hell that bowl might be .. only this morning to realise one was stacked inside the other!!

It's like when you're like "where are my glasses? where are my glasses?" and then - bam! - they were on top of your head the whole time!
GLAD you got good sleep!
Love the garden work descriptions... you're bringing the outdoors in to the Watch!
Sorus- ahh, the disappearing ping-pong balls. And I'm sure the cats are always very innocent-looking whilst they plot to open portals to another dimension the moment you leave the house...

The headache sounds no good ... glad .. hope .. youre feeling better.
Me ... home now
.. a bit tired tbh .. but also feeling accomplished lol ..
.. I got all four dogs bathed and groomed before I left .. that was hilarious as 3 of them were clearly allergic to bathing, or water or all of the above. Groomed and prissied up the horses, they looked sooo great. I plaited their tails and their manes
well why not eh
I also harnessed them up and took them for a walk nearby ... I think they forgave me for being a little late for breaky.
Got all my other jobs done.. very satisfying. I miss them all now tho but its been great to see all my furkids again. The goats were so happy to see me which was lovely and the sheep and my horse came running up to welcome mum home .. nothing quite compares. And my better half welcomed me with a delicious and veggie filled cooked dinner
.. that ones a real keeper

Aaah! I didn't know you loved horses, Sorus!
I spent my teen years being a horse-crazy girl, and although I seldom get my being-around-equines fix, (my own fault, somewhat) I've never lost the wonder.
I had a fat Shetland pony with quite a temper, and loved her to bits.
Could just sit watching her eat grass for 20 minutes on end.
How many horses have you got, skyweir?
I've had a good day... got more work done than I'm usually willing to.
Gave kiddo #1 a haircut.
I'm feeling way more content & mellow than usual.
