Thread I was originally looking to bump
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Just read this all the way thru...what a wonderful trip down memory lane. Can't believe I will be here on the Watch for 5 years in August... :hearts:
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

Gods, we must really suck if we haven't complimented folks in such a long time! Jenn and Menolly for everything! EL for keeping himself together, Es for keeping me together, dAN for never failing to screw with me, Luci for being the world's most lovable nutcase, Jay for assurring me that adminship is not the kiss of death, Vain for keeping this ship (and the Hangar) afloat and all my friends that have been with me through it all. Oh, and SRD for making it so...

Romeo, ali, Sky, Furls, amin, Syl etc... for keeping it real. And dlb for suffering under my whip. And ...

I would like to thank Loremaster for his generosity, my sons still play with Brawl. I would like to thank Esmer again, for just being Esmer. I would like to thank Cameraman Jenn for being more adorable than she perceives me to be. And I would like to thank Matrixman for his consistent, always wonderful, never obtrusive posts.
