Thanks for reading her my poem, Brooke... Hopefully she'll get back to where she can talk normally.

I put it into Publisher and fancied it up a bit, then I printed it on poster paper. We have it hanging above the bed. :)

Something beautiful happened about an hour ago. My little brother, Stevie was sitting next to Mom, he had his little hand on her forehead and was just staring at her. All of a sudden, he got up and went to the slider that leads out to the upper deck outside of Mom and Dad's room. He threw the door open and said, "Mommy says they are coming." when we asked him why he did that. A moment later, doves...at least twenty of them, flew in and landed on her. Dad went and got the cameras, but they wouldn't work, all power had been drained from the batteries. They stayed on her for about 15 minutes, each one taking a turn to light on her head. After each one had done that, they all flew back out the door. Mom woke up then and told us she loves us, then said..."I'll soon be done, then I'll be able to stay home." And Dad told her that she was home. She looked at him and smiled, "I'll be able to stay." She then drifted back to sleep again. Miracles happen every day. :-)

Physically, she all of a sudden has full kidney function again. Anna took her off of the dialysis. Her lung is clear and she is breathing better. Dr. Liz has asked Dad to bring her down to the hospital for CT and MRI scans, just to see what the tumors are doing...if anything.

We grasp at hope, and the promise of miracles here. Maybe we are getting one...maybe.

Please keep praying for Mom. hugs to all! |G

....Wow. That's beyond belief, Brooke, and quite miraculous. Life often outdoes the grandest fiction...the more I read this thread, the more I question my unbelief in a greater power.

Thank you Tracie for helping me along in my spiritual journey. Faith in God's love is so much easier for me because of you, even though we have never met or even had a conversation.
I will continue to pray for you and for your family. Through you I have come to believe in miracles.

Tracie, thank you SO much for giving me reasons for continued faith in our fallen human species...I am honored to know you and pray you continue to walk toward the Light always, whether in or beyond this body...

Mom will be so happy to see your post, Durris! She has been asking about you and a few others she has been missing. :)

We believe she may be back in another coma, she isn't responding to anything we do. Even asleep she would squeeze our hands, move or smile when we talked to her. Today, however, she isn't doing any of that. Dad still plans on taking her down to the hospital tomorrow for the scans.

We keep praying for that miracle.

She is just mustering her strength (and that conveyed by the doves) to accomplish more healing. Keep in mind how much recovery she has demonstrated in the past week.

Firm faith, unwavering hope...and boundless love!
