OK then. Slight change of plans. Our new flight will land in Albuquerque at 10:58pm. We had everything planned out extremely well. Packed. Woke up at 4am, showers, breakfast. Got to the airport with plenty of time.

And Christy didn't have her i.d.

I guess I'll call dlb & Romeo when they land if dlb doesn't post that he's read this. (I don't remember when you leave. )

I went to sleep at 1:30 am Albuquerque time, and I still couldn't sleep past 5:00 am. At least it's better than the 3:00 am I anticipated...

I'm pretty sure Luci said she would be back today around 3:00 PM. Yay!

Once Tam is awake, tons of shopping and prep to do.

Now remind me, other than Don, to whom all did I promise an individual key lime pie? I have enough to make eight to ten pies, but I figure if I make five, that should be plenty for today's cook-out. I could always make more for Sunday's High Tea.

Tam, Elora and Menolly are off to Cost Co. to buy supplies-and I can finally use my own comp! Not that I have much to say...right now. Off to the shower and then to the rental store to pick up the podium. **yawn**

Well, the last leg has been kicked out from under me, so it's official: I ain't coming. My friend I thought I could have made it happen has finally gotten back to me, and it turns out he is in Montreal at a music festival shopping his music around. No wonder he took so long getting back to me.

So it is with great sadness that I bow to the Fates that decided to keep me from meeting you fine folks. Maybe soon, and I'll definitely shoot for next year if there is another one, with or without Donaldson. But hopefully with. So have a Guinness for me, and Lucimay, enjoy a cigarette for me, and have fun everyone.

I told her about last fest when Fist never got off my comp--it's a tradition!
Well the beer's on ice and the ladies are chopping stuff up-let the partay begin!

Well, I am offcially in ABQ, met up with Romeo at the airport, we're at the hotel now -- we are waiting for DlbPharm to get his butt here (and romeo to tease his 'do) so we can hit the liquor store and butcher shop (If we have any money left) and then we will be heading over to Danlo's!!!!

One thing I couldn't help notice was almost everyone's accent...with the exception of Romeo and Dukka; it seems like Kevin's Confederate Watch down there!
