I will not crack wise about sticky Waddley.....

I'm trying to figure out what's best (Denver or NM), and whether or not I should get my own room or split one with someone.

Right now I'm leaning towards flying directly into NM, partially because of work (I'd only have to take Friday off), partially because 14 hours of driving back and forth to Denver (even with scintillating company) is a lot of driving.

Now, as far as lots of money and minimal effort, I'll bring my laptop and digital camera, you leave your inhibitions at home; we'll make millions.

Caamora and friend are out, and Lady Tam is Danlo's wife so she shouldn't be counted twice.

As to Cail's suggestion about the laptop and camera and your lack of inhibitions, I volunteer to work the lights and handle feather placement.

Hey dlb, Columbo recited that limerick in an episode! :D

danlo, Damelon, Romeo, and I were at the original. It's gonna be very interesting to be with a largely different, and bigger!, group this time around! :D

And I think that answers the question about making a large amount of money with minimal effort.

Laptops and digital cameras?? This is gonna be an interesting trip. 8O

Waddley, I've pm'd you my cell number. You might want to note that I'll have MagickMaker with me (helpful info for counting seats in cars...).

Yes, count "plus 2" for the actual festival for me. For now.

In that case, you'd better pack welding goggles.

Pick your answer:

1) ...In case things get messy.
2) ...Don't want you to be blinded by it's sheer awesomeness.
3) ...It helps me to fulfill a very special fantasy.
4) ...I'll need them when I install a lift kit on my truck.

OK--what's going on? Anybody else coming? I may be doing some Elohimfest type things this week. So far no response from George Martin--Robert Vardeman, Sci-Fi author and very good friends with SRD (and semi-founder of Bubonicon) is our second choice as "Toastmaster" and, I think, Jenn has a direct line to him. So maybe that's one thing to work on. I also need to start scoping restaurants, a large tent (possibly) and make some more concrete plans with the film crew.

It's a good thing we're seeing SRD in Albq this Summer, because, according to the 'news' section on his website and the postcard I just received, it doesn't look like he's attending Bubonicon '07. 8)

Just a quick note to update--*our bathroom remodel is finished
*yardwork is almost done so house will be beautiful
*Tam and I are brainstorming hard on restaurant/interview space
*I'm going to contact David Steinberg this week to see if he can cover the event for the Albq. Journal-he's the literary editor.
*given up on Geo. Martin but we are in the process of inviting Robt. Vardeman (Sci-Fi author and longtime friend of SRD-and dang funny too!) as Toastmaster to introduce SRD and acknowledge LFB's 30th anniversary
*will check in with video crew this week too.
[SRD just announced that he will, now, be at Bubonicon in August]
