May your fast go easy and the doctors appointment smoothly, Guns.

All is routine? Or should I add another mishaberach to my list?

no just a routine physical. From the "let's have a laff at Guns' expense" depratment, my regular Dr., (an older guy, mind you) is ill himself, and a lady Dr. is going to be giving me the once over.

That in and of itself is no big deal... but let's just say that in the past when female Dr.s have be pokin' round Guns' pistol, certian problem "arise". The more I think of it..the worse it gets.

Needless to say i am doing everything i can to think of things like nuns and Chris matthews. Help me.

BGB, I had success making mashed potato pancakes once, and I can not remember what I did. Usually they fall apart on me. I've used egg as a binder, but prefer not to add flour or matzah meal, as it affects the flavor too much. How do you make yours?

Today's breakfast was coffee, a can of V-8, and one slice of cold pepperoni pizza.

Two fried eggs (with salt, pepper and taragon) and fried jasmine rice with basil. Oh, and strawberry white tea. I would make this for dinner, too, but I ran out of cage-free eggs. :(

I had to head to the airport right before that delicious meal was served! It looked and smelled so good, but I had to go and didn't have any!

Unfortunately, not in the flesh. I had to settle for a ham and turkey wrap on the plane.

This morning I made myself a smoky links & sour cream omelet.

I gotta say, that doesn't sound to appealing. Enlighten me to a "sour cream omlet."

Damelon, do you mean sour cream whipped into the eggs before cooking? The eggs take on a fantastic flavor when scrambled that way. Rich, rich, rich.

I do love cream cheese omlettes, where the cream cheese is the filling.

Just a dollop of sour cream in the filling. I added a shot of tabasco sauce to the sour cream.
