Don just doesn't have a picture of the bull -- he has a naughty pivture of the bull. ;)

We went out to dinner at a good Mexican restaurant tonight in Middletown. Then we went to Krispy Kreme donuts, where Fist and my younger son treated us to some haruchai happy dancing! :D 8) :D 8) :D 8)

I was not impressed with the bull!! I was impressed with the poses some of the women were willing to take with the bull!! I would have been thrilled to marry several of them on the spot!

I said goodbye to dlb tonight. He's flying out at 9AM, and I won't be seeing him before then. Don (the only 'Fester I actually called by name, since "dlbpharmd, would you pass the ketchup?" is a bit silly) is truly a great guy. Nice as can be; laughed a lot; easy to talk to; etc etc etc.

I said goodbye to danlo last night in Grand Central Station. duchess & family saw him again today, but I was too full of kids to join them. It was extremely cool to see him again.

And I talked to Brinn on the phone today. That was also great, after 2.5 years of posting together. He and dlb met at a casino in Conn., and dlb called so I could hear that ol' Haruchai's voive. :D

We said goodbye to Danlo yesterday -- I didn't want to give him back to his parents. I wanted to keep him. But it was his last day with his Mom and Dad, so we reluctantly gave him back. And then we had to say goodbye to Don last night, and that was pretty rough, too.

But I still have three days left with Fist, the happy haruchai! :D

Today he is taking us to a town in Pennsylvania and take us to his favorite restaurant for soup and his favorite comic books store. :)

I'm not sure what we are doing tomorrow yet, we're kind of doing this on the fly. But possibly Fists' veloved Blue Hole for a dip and a picnic. :)

But on Wednesday we're going back to NYC to go to a restaurant in Greenwich Village that specializes in peanut butter foods (the supposed best pizzaria in NYC, John's PIzza, is also in Greenwich) and we'll do one of the major museums, though we're not sure which one yet. :) We were going to a Yankees/White Sox game that day, but it turned out to be sold out, so we'll go see Van Gogh's Starry Night or something else equally wonderful instead. 8)

Finally made it home, after a long delay in Philly's airport followed by a brutal wait on the runway for clearance to take off. Is Philly airport always so slow?

I'll be posting some pics later tonight. Thanks again to everyone for a great time!

Don, you got stuck in Philly again?? 8O 8O 8O

We had a fun day with Fisty. :) He took us over to Pennsylvania, to a pretty little town on the Delaware River called Milford. It was raining there, and we darted into a little restaurant Fisty likes that specializes in soup. Oh, it was so good (moans) . I had the broccoli cheddar chowder and it ruled. I nearly licked out the bowl it was so good. Everyone else got the buffalo chicken soup, and they all seemed to really enjoy theirs, too.

The restaurant was in an old house with a big covered porch. We sat on the porch and watched the thunder storm. While we were eating, the power for the town went out!

We walked through the rain a couple of blocks to Fisty's favorite comic book/collectible card store. Still no electricity, but what we could see looked really cool. :)

Then we headed down into the Delaware Water Gap National Park. It was absolutely gorgeous!!! :D 8) We stopped off and walked up to a glorious and huge waterfall called Dingman's Falls. It was in a deep forest and it was raining, and the falls were absolutely lovely. Fist and I were the only ones who climbed the stairs up to the top, and by the time we made it up there, I was so exhilirated from how beautiful everything was, I was close to pulling off my sopping wet clothes and dancing naked in the rain. Luckily, I did not, as a family with little kids came puffing up the stairs not too long after that.

Calibaby took a couple of pictures of me and Fist when we got back. We look like drowned rats.  I'll have to post one of them, call it something like "Soaked Rats".

Then Fist took us by the place where he works, and we got to meet some of his coworkers. :)

When we got back to Middletown, he headed out to pick up his little ones, and I had hot tea (to try to warm up) and had to change all of my clothes. You could wring out my top. 8O

When Fisty got back with his daughters, we all headed out for dinner at one of the restaurants next to the hotel. Lisa and Shaina are both so cute. :D :D :D Fist had both hot chocolate and coffee, as he was still pretty chilled from the soaking, too.

I've been traveling ALL day--the rain got me too-hour an a half delay at Newark and 2 and a half hours at Houston. 12 hours straight but it was a great time, concerned about my parents but the New York Fest was wonderful and dlb and I discussed much Chrons and Runes and no politics! :P I even refrained from politics with the ol' man we always get in a dander about Mr. Cheney--but not this time. Thanks all! :D

Back at work today <sigh>

Glad you made it home OK, Danlo. Sounds like you had a rough travel day too. I was so exhausted that I didn't post any pics last night. I will try to do that tonight.

It's very good to know that both of you made it home safe and sound. :)

We're due to have torrential rain and thunderstorms the next two afternoons (today and tomorrow). So we went to Manhattan on the best possible day we could have this week. 8)

Huh? Whose right? I don't see any fat guy...

I can only assume that Brinn's the one with the high forehead.

Oh, wait... ;)
