True dat, Guns. No slapping down round these parts. Make sure you check out all the back allies around here. There's some neat stuff!
Welcome to the Watch, Alan.

You are welcome, Alan.
Now I notice this is still the only thread on the entire Watch you have posted in, although I am sure you have ventured further. Don't let these Donaldson fanatics daunt you, your insights into his works are more than welcome.
And as for the other areas of the Watch, come make yourself at home. Do you enjoy cooking or talking food? Come visit one of the areas I watch over, The Galley. Do you enjoy other authors as well as Donaldson? Then hop on into The Library. It would be nice to get some new blood in our discussions on The Gunslinger cycle, as well as other works of various authors. Do you enjoy role playing? Come check out Gravin Threndor, where we currently have three games going on that you are more than welcome to come lurk on.
And on and on. The Watch is an amazing place (and totally addictive for one such as I). Jump in!

Thanks Pam - you have just about described my library (Would have been "Library" but small flat in London has no such thing - am grateful to have separate kitchen/bathroom!)
Cooking, tick, RPGs, tick, Dark Tower (have Granny Weatherwax "Views" but tick anyway.)
What is scary about the "Watch" is how welcoming you guys are but...
well, I really have to work on my presentation. Ridicously nice signatures - must get to work.

you know...rule number one is do whatever Lucimay tells you to do!

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?
~ alan bates, the mothman prophecies
i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
~ george clooney, inside the actor's studio
a straight edge for legends at
the fold - searching for our
lost cities of gold. burnt tar,
gravel pits. sixteen gears switch.
