It was a little predictable, but I thought it was a fairly good end to the series.

Very disappointing! The last couple eps were so-so; what happened to the great writing? They must have phoned this one in. Knocking off all the characters might have been better, after all.

I do like the very end where we see Hiro back in time.

I thought it was great, but I'm a sucker for expected endings. I almost feel like the series would be best if they kept it as just the one. Almost like a short story, complete in and of itself.

But I'm really looking forward to seeing Hiro's dad underneath that lone samurai's facemask.

The high points for me were when Ali Larter hit someone, which makes me wonder if I'm developing a masochistic fetish in my old age.......

Nah. Chances are you would've enjoyed it just as much in your young age!

Hmm...how can we wrap things up this season? I know, let's kill off half the cast! I guess you guys were half right about starting with a fresh cast. It'll be interesting to see who pops up for season two.

If Peter survived the blast and fall, just think about how freaking powerful he'll be when he lands. He absorbed a slew of powers from the collected Heroes (not to mention Sylar's powers) at the final showdown. If Peter is alive he'll be unstoppable.

I was disappointed that we didn't get to see what the illusionist woman really looked like. I thought it was clever writing (assuming it was intentional) that she wasn't convincing as Nikki--a decent, loving person. Yet she was dead on as Jessica--a badass bitch.

I liked the finale a lot. Felt like a good comic book. As though it wa written by Chris Claremont back in the 80's or somethin'.

Don't fret. Our group of heroes will be back, Peter and Nathan among them. NBC has struck gold and will not mess with the formula ENTIRELY. Clearly Molly has another baddie on her radar that is WORSE than the boogie man.

I like PETER a lot now.

I expect Peter to be back for next season, but I don't know about Nathan (and good riddance, actually.)

Why is it that Sylar has been such a bad ass, and was throwing Peter around in the final scene, yet Hiro just walks up and stabs him?

Peter had so many powers at his disposal, but he simply was not in control of them yet. In previous episodes he always seemed surprised that he possessed these powers. Peter absorbed the powers without understanding them whereas Sylar always seemed to be in control. I think since Sylar studied the brains of those he killed, he was able to understand how the powers worked---he quickly learned how to use them.

As far as Hiro, I assume one of two things: Hiro either time-stopped then stabbed Sylar, or his swordsmanship was simply so good that Sylar was too slow to stop him. Ah well, who knows.

They'll all be back.

Peter has that big ole scar in his face in the future, therefore, I believe it's from the explosion and not quite healing, he'll be back.

Nathan, I'm not so sure he could survive. How fast does he fly? Could he have had time enough to get Peter up high, then tossed him up, and flew the hell out of dodge before Peter went Supernova? How fast would he have had to fly to accomplish that?

Since S2 is called Generations I believe S2 will focus on the Families (Petrellis, Sureshes, Nakamuras and whoever else was in a family and involved in the Company.

DL looked pretty healthy, I think he should survive, Parkman on the other hand got shot quite a few times, it's gonna be tough for him to survive.

Casting Spoiler for S2:
Spoiler
Hiro, Peter and Nathan are all signed on for S2, although Peter and/or Nathan, could still be dead and appearing in flashbacks, but, I believe there is no reason for Peter not to survive. Claire also is signed for S2 and they are supposedly considering a love interest for her

Between this show and LOST..it is noice to see some storyline innovation occur in dramas. Great stuff.

Dude, I got shivers when she said the whole "When I think about him, he can see me" thing. I am afraid for the Heroes :(

Not really. i am just suggesting that Dick Cheney might just be the scariest man EVER...that's all.

;)

Howz Wadds?

I thought you meant that Cheney could see you when you thought about him... which made no sense :P

Wadds is ok. Wadds is poor because work fucked her. Wadds is thinking about working in a factory building airplanes. Wadds would make more money that way, and because everyone knows that mone=happiness, all would be better. Right?

what happened at work? PM me if you want!

Money is of course not the be-all of happiness, but lawdy, my wadds...it does help. Especially if you have friends, a pet or family to help or take care of.

I'd go to work for the airplane place, especially if benfits are part of the package!

If you mean Heroes: Origins, I don't think that's supposed to be starting until just before or during season 2 (I've read something about it filling the mid-season break?).

I was looking forward to some Heroes this summer too, but it looks like Murrin's right. Look for Origins sometime next season.

Just how the "Origins" episodes will be scheduled along with the main "Heroes" storyline has yet to be worked out. The most likely scenario, Reilly says, will be to have "Heroes" start its second season in the fall and run more or less straight through its 24 episodes, with perhaps a short break during the holidays. "Origins" would then follow at the end of the season. Another option would be to run "Origins" "as a chunk" in the spring, before the concluding episodes of "Heroes."
