Heroes

Post by A Gunslinger »

Did anyone watch this last night?

It seemed like it has promise. I especially liked the signle mother who seems to have a dark 1/2 that manifests itself in times of great stress.

I also noted that the teleporation geek got his X-men reference wrong. It is not 143, but #141-2 where Kitty Pryde deals with time travel.

Heroes on NBC, good enough to get me watch it again. Might get to have a reverse effect on Studio 60, which I believe is a very good school.

I hate to demonstrate my geek-ness where comics are concerned, but the "Days of Future Past" is one of the most popular and enduring storylines in Marvel history. No lie.

I missed the X-Men reference, but the show was pretty good. I'll definitely watch it next week.

I'm curious to see how the connection between the flying congressman and his younger brother work out. I expected the brother who thought he could fly to have some other power, but I certainly was surprised when his bro flew up to catch him.

I liked it, too. Adding it to my list of very few shows I make a point to see. I watched it again at the NBC Heroes site. I liked the intro music, too. ;)

Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.

I can already see how each character's power could complement each other in an effort to battle their potential nemesis. I really like the series so far.

Another great episode.

(Not advisable to read spoiler if you haven't seen the latest episode, but, if you've seen it already, it all pertains to that one, rather than being spoilers for future eps)
Spoiler
I can't escape the feeling that Sylar is actually female. I'm wondering if maybe Eden (The sweet girl next door that hangs out with Mohinder) is actually Sylar. We, the audience seem for the most part not to trust her.

Peter's a very interesting mutant. He can not only read emotions, but mimic powers of those he's around. I wonder if he can do multiple powers if he's around a group of them, or if he can only do one, and how that one is determined.
