Gawd, you guys have already seen it to the end...We just had Sawyer squashing the tree frog (OMFG I laughed like a hyena when he did that! mainly because of Sawyer's last line to Hurley as he handed him the squishy remnants: "I hear with a little ranch dressin', it tastes just like chicken"....

:haha:

THAT's why I love Sawyer so much!! (oh, his hotness may have SOME factor in it as well... ;) )

So, did anyone notice in the Season Finale
Spoiler
that the guy who made the phone call to Penny looked exactly like Matt Fox? Not sure what it means, but, after freeze framing, I am convinced Matt Fox played that character. If it's not him, they got one heck of a dead ringer for him to play the character. Penny's two henchman are both billed with their own names, but, this wouldn't be first time a name was dummied up to hide the fact a second character is played by a primary actor.

Yeah, I noticed that. You're right about the actor playing him. Also, he was reading Bad Twin. Interesting, huh?

Spoiler
Well, apparently it is another actor, Len Cordova is one of his names. He looks amazingly like Matt Fox, but, if you focus in on his nose, you can see a slight difference. He does have his own career of playing small parts.
I am not convinced the Producers were surprised people thought it was Matt Fox.

Actually it was Hurley, and then Sawyer who were reading "Bad Twin". It was Jack who got pissy with Sawyer and tossed it into the fire.

I wonder if this guy is gonna end up with only four toes? ;)

In a later episode, a bird flys past and Hurley says, 'did that bird just say my name?'
And Sawyer replies, 'Yea, right after it crapped gold.'

Is anyone participating in the Lost Experience online "game" this summer?

I started it a couple weeks ago and it's pretty interesting (though for the most part, it just seems to give background info).

I really enjoyed the Finale of Season 2. Now i have the really long wait for 3.

:? :P
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Doesn't have to be that long if you www.bittorrent.com/ Usually takes a few days. I think Lost is also now Pod-Cast.

By the way, I didn't think that bird says Hurley's name, but I replayed that scene with CAP on and apparently it did.

I was really hooked on season 1...big time. Not so much on season 2, but it was still pretty good. My fav ep from season 2 was the 2 hour finale with the

a close second.
Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.

I was disappointed with season two, until going back and watching them all on DVD. This is a show that really benefits from compressing your own personal viewing time.

I was at first turned off by all the new characters. I wanted to know more about the ones we already had. But now that the new characters aren't "new" anymore, I'm learning to accept them right along with the regular cast.

And I like the turns and twists of the characters. Charlie has really surprised me. I think his episode (Fire and Water?) was the most powerful of the whole season, in character terms. Locke's late-season conflict was interesting, too. And of course Michael had a MAJOR twist. Sawyer had his moment to shine. Eko kicks ass. Jin and Sun are still boring me. Ditto with the Jack and Kate romance. I'm glad they did what they did with Ana. Henry Gale was one of the best surprises of the season.

I can't wait until season three. Two days left!

Me too Malik!!! I am hoping Sayid gets his groove back. My guess is that he will wind up as defact leader and may lead a team to goe get Kate Sawyer and Jack.

It's closer to the truth to say, you can't get enough:

What a cool opening! I love how they keep revisiting that one crucial moment, showing it from different perspectives. Was it just an accident? Desmond's mistake? It seemed like they were prepared for just such an event (the quick reaction by Henry--or Ben).

Concerning the numbers, I found this on AICN:

and this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bIVSVZq_6Q

Check them out!

[Edit: crap, second link wasn't the right one. Oh well, Kate in a dress. Not a total loss. I'll look around for the righ link.]

(Should season three spoilers be moved elsewhere, since this thread advertizes season two spoilers?)

Lately my kids have been into shows like Under the Dome and Siberia and things like that, so it occurred to me to watch some LOST with them, because, you know, even with a hundred channels there's never anything on. LOST, after all, was the original sci-fi/paranormal/mystery drama. So I thought they might like it.

Holy cow. Do they like it. Laughing and screaming and oh-noing through the show like it. They were addicted by the third episode. Every episode now ends with "More! More!"

We're almost done with season 2. I have to say, I've forgotten how much I enjoyed this show. It's really nice watching it again. I'd forgotten how much I liked Mr. Eko and him out-Locking Locke. Or what a traitor Mike was. There were some very outstanding episodes.

I would recommend a re-watch to anyone. Especially with some uninitiated around. Shows like Breaking Bad etc were good, but the early seasons of LOST are still a pinnacle we have never seen since.
