Gonna have to have a service and some repairs done to my car, which I'm not looking forward to, but otherwise fine.

A strange 24 hours for me. Yesterday was pretty bad: had some problems with my car, despite it having just been 'serviced'; forgot to bring the remotes for my TV and DVD with me when I came back to Bangor (and the DVD can't be operated without its remote); my computer broke and I thus had to spend £330 getting a new one.

On the bright side, I'm now posting from a shiny new laptop.

It's Monday. I've been trying to find a used transfer case and front driveshaft for an '01 X5 since last monday. I located one online, thought I had the sale in the bag and then found out that the corporate headquarters of the national wreckers LKQ would not let the South Carolina branch sell it to me direct. They were insisting that I pay some 30% markup to buy it through the Reading California branch. So after a bazillion phone calls and me getting pissed off I am finally told that they will sell me one today. That does not freaking help the fact that my customer has been without her car for over a week while these a-holes try to wheel and deal and figure out how they can screw me out of more money. I was totally getting cranky as hell until I read that CovJr is coming to the states for sure. That made me smile.

Oh fine, you "it's sunny and warm here" types.

It's rainy/drizzly here today *again*.

Other than that, tho, not doing too badly. I'm making major progress on the filing project -- just need to make labels for some binders and do the transfer form and I'm done. And tonight, I get to start packing for Spain. The plane leaves tomorrow night and this time I will be on it, dammit!
