I started the second phase of my class campaign last night, and it doesn't look as bad as I thought - Wowhead made it look like 10 12-hour missions, but it's actually only five.

I have yet to get anything really good from a world quest - best thing so far has been a warforged cloak that was 815. Someone in guild linked a pair of 850 titanforged gloves that they got today, so maybe I'll get an upgrade today. Only at 801 overall, though I know my ilevel will jump once I unlock the third relic slot - and I even have a good relic saved for it.

The rewards scale up with your own gear level. Right now I get offered 825-835 base ilevel. I just made a point of going after every gear-reward world quest available for a while, regardless of which faction or whatever.

I was just reading that. I don't think I've even had any quests that offered gear today. At least I'm getting a lot of rep.

I've probably been a bit out of the loop since I left Facebook - at least when it comes to 'unofficial' news.

Cleared our first couple bosses on normal mode last night. The first boss and the Dragons of Nightmare were really easy, but then we got stuck on the eyeball boss - way too many adds on the second time outside.

Nice. I'm a bit behind - my raid team starts next week and I just did my first mythic dungeon last night. Court of Stars reminds me of MgT. We have a guild LFR set for tonight, so at least I'll get to see the fights and how my numbers stack up against other healers. Disc seems pretty OP right now - I can pull 80-100K DPS on a single target fight and keep the group alive with Atonement, though I don't feel that I am as strong a tank healer as I was pre-patch.

We downed (normal) Nythendra, Dragons of Nightmare, and Ursoc on our first week raiding, but lost a lot of time wiping to Il'Nygoth. Turns out we should have been using hero in a different phase, and we might've had it. Expectations high for next reset.

The raid is super easy on normal mode. We one-shot Nythendra and three-shot the others.

Killed all of the above plus Il'gynoth and Elerethe tonight. Il'gynoth was much easier when we made one small change - not killing Ichors until everything else (except horrors) is dead.

I'm still top 2 dps but my ilevel's starting to fall behind the few folks in guild who regularly run mythics. Need to get on that. (I did get a few upgrades today.)

Nice. I don't start raiding until next Thursday. Both tanks have good gear. Not sure about the other healers. I know some DPS are below minimum (one couldn't even get into LFR) - but they have a week to catch up, and I've seen firsthand how much one can improve in a week if they put effort into it. Haven't done any other mythics yet, but I have quests for at least two of them.

We did mythic Eye of Azshara earlier. It was more painful than I expected. Court of Stars was easier.

The Arcway was also easier than Eye of Azshara. I would have thought that the ones that require atunement would be the most difficult, but apparently not.

Cenarius down. We got very close on Xavius, but ran out of time unfortunately.

Good luck. I'm trying to decide if I want to start the final step of my Order Advancement. I've seen a few people in my guild get legendary items, but I haven't gotten one, much less two. And that's fine - legendary items should be rare - it just seems a bit anticlimactic to sink all those resources into something that won't offer any benefit soon, and maybe not ever.

I'm stuck at 1900/2000 on Ancient Mana capacity and I can't figure out what I'm missing. Pretty sure it has to be one of the five items rather than a quest, but I've been to all five locations and there's nothing there. Maybe it's a phasing issue or something.

I'm still at 1700/2000. /shrug

Last night we downed Nythendra on Heroic. Not trying any other heroics yet, still have Xavius to kill.

I want the fox mount, and it seems the best way to get it is through the Withered Training scenario, and you need the full 2K to get the most benefit from that.

Our first raid night went fairly well - one-shot Nythendra and the Dragons of Nightmare and two-shot Ursoc. Also got in a few pokes at Il'gynoth, but didn't down him.

Il'Gynoth was a nightmare for us for a long while - we always lost control in the second outdoor phase - until someone told us we were doing it wrong. We'd been trying to regularly clear out oozes, but apparently to keep on top of tentacles you just let the oozes build up and only kill them if there's nothing else (except Horror). Along with using Heroism on the second pair of Destructor tentacles, we've one shot the fight every time we did this.
