and sarge only lurch knows where lurch is! BUT...there's a chance that DANLO knows how to get in touch with lurch!!

and yeah Av, wow is a major time suck if you are a raider because you then have to gear your toon to raid and make major time commitments to 9 other people (or more) that you will show up for raid (probably twice a week) geared with potions and buff foods etc and you will do the research to know the fights etc...
but there are a LOT of people who don't raid (me for the time being) and there's loads of fun stuff to do that don't demand endless amts of time. questing, leveling, achievement grinding, many rare mounts and pets, pet battles, faction rewards, and even actual RP'ing.
there's treasure maps and some guilds have events and transmog contests (you can now change the look of your gear by transmogrification) and meetups and such.
it's a community, just like the watch only more interactive (if your guild is not dead like mine is just now) so it's much much more than just an MMORPG on the order of league of legends or elder scrolls or something like that.
AND we're getting a live action MOVIE in 2016 too, based on some of the earliest wow lore...oh did i say the lore is VERY interesting and there's a bunch of books as well?

yeah...wow for life!!!!

Yeah, well, I now have FB. Again. Blame Impy. Doesn't mean it's not evil. Doesn't mean I've checked it recently either, because I haven't.

Reeeaaallly didn't want to, but she talked me into it. And I think I've checked it twice in the last month, so people probably think I'm ignoring them, though I think I did warn them that I wouldn't be logging in very often.

And, in a rare on-topic comment, I miss Lurch's cloud pics and hope he returns soon.

While started as a joke, I think a revised and updated Gaming Forum (with more attention to MMORPGs) is necessary to prevent the nuts from invading so many other topics!
