I don't disbelieve. If anything, paranormal activity is more believable than most religious activity.

No.

What is your greatest strength?

My knowledge of my weaknesses, so that I know when I need to work around them.

I do not know if I have any true allies. If I have any, I am unsure who they are.

If you had a choice between Living Forever and Knowing everything, which would you choose?

If I lived forever, that would give me time to learn everything. If I knew everything, that means I also know how to develop the technology to keep me effectively immortal. Sorry, I can't answer this question without my head exploding.

What's the worst movie you've seen in the last 10 years?

I don't remember the title because I left about 30 minutes into the movie, and it was quite a while ago. It was a thriller/mystery/horror type movie, and I wager most people who like that sort of thing would have enjoyed it immensely. I was horrified and even now if I just think about that movie I have a visceral reaction. Typing about it right now makes me feel ill. I think in that half hour eight or nine people died terribly violent, painful, graphic, and imaginative deaths.

Is there a genre of movie that you refuse to watch?

Yes. The horror involving only murder and gore. Saw is a perfect example. I don't mind gore, as long as it has purpose, and is only adding to a flick. When gore is the centerpiece, I have no interest.

If you had access to everything you needed to make a major film, what sort of movie would you direct?

Either comedic fantasy or epic fantasy or comedic epic fantasy. Definitely fantasy of some sort. Maybe make a movie of The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. That would be fun.
Yeah, I'd do that.
Unless I found something really interesting and meaningful to make a documentary about, in which case I would make that documentary.

If you could be a character (either take the place of an existing character or be yourself as an additional character) in any fantasy or sci-fi book/movie, what character, what book/movie, and why?

by Cagliostro
Probably the character of Cagliostro in the Historical Illuminatus trilogy from Robert Anton Wilson. The real guy is interesting to me, but the character in the book is quite a badass.

 You had a question, Cag?

by Cagliostro
Yes...why am I so forgetful?

Because every time you look at your saluting girls, they short-circuit your mental wiring, putting you momentarily in a delusional state, during which your brain thinks that those girls hold all the answers you need, therefore it dismisses the need to formulate any questions, except for the one you just asked.

Elohimfest vs. Seafest: which one would be more likely to send pure, cold panic up (or down) SRD's spine?

Posted: Sat Oct 25, 2008 6:25 am
by Seareach
I know the answer to this one!!!!!

Seafest, of course! Coz I was there...in the US...and I went to Albuquerque and I turned up on SRD's doorstep and was banging on his door and calling (really sweetly, of course...in the way that only I can) "Oh Mr Donaldson! Oh Mr Donaldson are you theerrreeee??? Yooooooooouuuuu hoooooooooo!!!" But there was no answer!!! Then I saw him peaking out of one of his windows. I know he saw me (!!!!) but he didn't let me in...even when he knew it was me!!!...the bastard!!!!..so I'm figuring he was kinda cold and panicked...even though it was quite hot that day. So maybe there wasn't much cold panic...just panic panic.

Embarrassment of another alter-dimensional self echoing to you.

Or you're cold.

I'm tall so I notice these things. But I'm also lazy. It is very thin, but it's probably there, at least to the point where it doesn't trouble me yet.
