Thanks aTOMiC!!!!!!!! For thinking that was awesome LOL .. it's nice to be back. What if Earthy, Fisty (probably a questionable choice of construction ), Mhoram, my lady friend from Napa?
Has it really been 7 years? Prolly 6.5yrs or so, no? Geez where's that time gone. Well yes I've aged (at least 7 years ), I've changed career paths by retiring from public service about a year ago now have our own business where I live and work in rural Australia with pets, horses, livestock. It's awesome and I love it! I'm on Facebook if you want to catch up. We're empty nesters now, I'm a nanny (grandma) and have a beautiful grandaughter. I had hoped for more by now but eh? it's out of my hands (LOL) .. I have a beautiful property with horse, alpaca and sheep. Naturally we have chooks, ducks, peacock (my male died last summer - snake) , bantams, rabbits, cats and a dog. We moved to one of the few places in Australia that stays pretty much green all year round - and love it here. No services here - we have solar power, bore and rain water. Thank god for the bore as there's sometimes insufficient rain. We have a creek that runs they the bottom of the property - which we had tested for purity and it is not only pure it has trace elements of gold in it. The village we live in used to be a gold mining town. There's gold all around here. Environmentalists stopped a 10 year bid to reopen one of the mines nearby but because the company listed using arsenic dredging it failed. We have a olde world's guest house which has ensuite which you're all welcome to stay in if any of you ever venture down under. Our home and all the buildings on the property are rammed earth. We've started providing respite foster care for 3troubled kids. We took them to see snow last weekend - it was a hoot! But the next day I was mackerel! LOL .. I forget I'm not a younglin anymore!!! I'm pushing 60 now, well in a few. Any way that's about it for me - now you know pretty much everything there is to know. Maybe there's a thing or two not yet shared lol .. I was going to upload pics but when I get around to converting and resizing them - I will upload - or just come visit me on Facebook.

Sky, that description of your place sounds really awesome. I'm very glad you are back. When I first joined Kevinswatch you were particularly welcoming and I have always appreciated that.
Of course if you had warned me back then to not get involved with all of these lunatics I wouldn't be stuck posting to this message board a dozen times a day.

You're a better person than me aTOMiC! You've demonstrated great fealty and love for this place. This place got me through a difficult time .. but I had to dedicate 100% of my attention to my family. My kids especially. My son attempted suicide and well he had serious issues I needed to focus completely on. I love my son with every fibre of my being! I have never been good at managing my KW addiction. I think/hope I am better now lol .. but what happened to my son shook me to my core. Then my eldest son told it wasn't his first attempt, but that he swore him to secrecy! Frigg'n kids LOL .. who'd have 'em. Anyway he's good now! He now works overseas, he travelled all over south east Asia, Europe and the US. He's a classically trained dancer/singer and worked a year with Ringling Bros Barnam & Bailey Circus
