I feel jealous.

I want a job where I can say "run a sample."

Oh man, I am coming down with a case of Hella Flu. This is going to be a bad one. I feel it in my bones. :hairs:

In other news, Forestals remain my favorites.

First off, good luck Loremaster!! :D And I hope you don't get really sick jawn :(

In today's TMI Edition of "How are you feeling today?" we will be discussing my version of the filming of "The Parting of the Red Sea." Spoilers are on to protect the eyes of the innocent.
Spoiler
I've avoided having a period for about 4 years. (God. Bless. Depo.) A few months back I decided to switch to the pill because... well, because I'm dumb. Anyway... I'm bad at the pill. By bad, I mean that I forget to take it, regardless of any alarms that may be set to remind me. The hormones also jack my system up.

ANYWAY, I got off the pill a couple days ago and I'm going back to my blessed depo. (Oh, how my body has missed thee!) In the interim, my body decides to freak out at being without hormones, and do it's "cycle" thang.

Now, the reason I got on depo four years ago was because of my monthly "womanly thing." (The whole "Hey, I'm infertile!" thing is just a great side effect.) Aunt Flo is mean to me. She hurts, bad. Real bad. Rarely, there are periods of time when I can't get out of bed cause it hurts too much. If it's not pain, then it's option B: the first day or two of the "crimson tide" I am a horrible, volatile mix of the following: tired, cranky, violent, sad/depressed, lethargic, moody and/or sore.

This time "the curse" decided to opt for option B. Everyone at work keeps asking me if I'm ok. One person told me I look like I'm about to cry. Really I just want to go home, drink some bitch beers and sleep. Maybe also kill the next two people who call me, but I don't know if my body will agree to violence right now. My muscles are too sore to comply.

Anywhoo... I'm sorry to bitch, but... It's this or go off on a co-worker. And by "go off" I mean "mutilate for no good reason." I'm done now. I'm going to go eat some chocolate and complete the stereotype.

Might I suggest some hot chamomile tea Waddley?

*ducks and runs for cover*

I hope your date went well Loremaster! The flower was a nice touch.

Hrm... I've never really liked tea. Would it be good if I saturated it with honey? What if I just got a glass of honey and added some tea? Damn, I love me some honey.

Thank you Lorelei :)

If I move to MD and work with you Lorelei, can I shout at someone "I need you to run this sample, stat!"? And could I pretend that I was a CSI? And THEN you could call me Waddles and no one would know why :D

Hey! You'd like the neighborhood here Waddles!!

Sorry you feel bad :(

[Not that a 'guy' really understands, but we KNOW we don't wanna get bitched at! ;)]

I always suggest a hot totti - perhaps some tea, honey, and a liberal amout of Jack Daniels sure is good for what ails ya! (you too jwaneeta!)

PSA: I took echinacea last night and it stopped my burgeoning flu symptoms in their tracks. Yay, echinacea, the miracle herbal! I really recommend the stuff to anyone not inclined to stomach upset.

I'm fine, but I had to rescue my princess from school today, as she threw up on the bus. Heh, she's 7 (2nd grade), and I think this is the first time I had to pick her up early. I mentioned that she rarely gets sick, and she said "That's because I take care of myself!"

Ah, not too bad, management are all away for the day, I've sent the rest of the (2) staff home because they don't have anything to do, and I'm lazing through my work.

Sore from climbing yesterday, but its getting better. Only downer is we have to go out tonight, friends birthday and we've gotten comps to some band or concert or something. Oh well, will have to make the best of it.

Like I ought to have my head examined. I mean, I almost posted in the Tank a minute ago. Fortunately, the sensation passed.
