Thanks to Aelyria's skill, I live to type another day.
While I was unconscious, I dreamt I had been transported to another place. At first I hoped it was the Land, then I looked around and realized it was Sendaria. Noooooooooooooo...

Ooh. .. you poor thing! *hugs MM* You want me to make you some sympathy food, since I apparently was the cause of your near-death experience?

Nah, that's okay, Lyr. While I was in Sendaria, I managed to enjoy some of Polgara's cooking at Faldor's Farm. Lucky for Garion I didn't meet him, though. I woulda had some words with the twit.

You aren't going to hold this against me, are you? You have to let me make it up to you.
As for Garion. . . he was nice boy, but not always the sharpest crayon in the box.

Huh? Nothin' to make up for.

Your potent skill in CPR-lore revived me. I'm ready to tackle the world...er, once I get some sleep. G'night, Lyr.

And have a good weekend!

Wow ! Thanks for all the replies. Well I was swayed and have the first three books of Malazan sitting here with me. ( dying to get started) and another my wife picked out because I was just a little short of getting free shipping...It's called Wit'ch Fire by James Clemens...I started with it cause the first Malazan book shipped later than the rest and I couldn't wait a couple extra days to start reading.
Wit'ch Fire is a nice read, it's no Donaldson but it's entertaining. The only thing that is annoying is the overuse of apostrophes, the guy loves breaking words and names up with them...but I guess that's his style.
Also I do have some Eddings. I have The First Book of The Elder Gods series, The Book of The Dreamers...Got it in HB for $5 at Wal-Mart's bargain bin. I started reading it, but I felt like I was reading a kid's book and couldn't shake that from my mind the whole time and just couldn't get into it...perhaps I'll try it again later...
But who am I kidding? I'm just killing time until Fatal Revenant comes out, I want that book so bad it's driving me nuts...
