Well, finished the Gap cycle. :D

Enjoyed it thoroughly. Quite possibly his best work. And personally, I found the last book to be the most powerful of the lot.

Anyway, will poke around here as time permits and see what I feel like saying. :D

I'd agree with that. The Gap just completely blew me away. The story tellng and character development are the best I've ever read. And after book one, it just completely pulls and sucks you right in.-jay

I just finished the series; awesome books! But I have a question. Do you think Angus really killed Holt? Or did Angus give him a zone implant, and make Holt become his personal butler/salad-tosser?

Seriously though...Who really thinks that Angus won't return to his old lifestyle?

I know the author doesn't...but that doesn't count.

Give him less than a year, and he'll sail that ship right into Amnion Space to sell all of Earth's secrets.

Angus was transformed. I doubt he would go back to his old ways.

Yeah, I agree with Lore. Transformed might be a bit strong (although he was really, literally at least), but I think his priorities had changed.

Yeah, I believe he's changed, too. He's out of the cradle now. But still, a guy gets lonely every now and then, and is going to need his salad tossed. I say he kept Holt alive and plugged in. Is that really so wrong?

 Well, it might be a form of poetic justice...

But yeah, he's out of the cradle. I think that was part of the whole point of the story.

I don't think Angus would zone implant Fasner. He's had it done to himself now and knows what it's like.

He'd still be capable of some extremely horrible things but I don't think he'd ever zone implant anyone again.
