Ok, back to "end of days" type weather....
It has been snowing here for the past 7 hours. It is snowing hard. It is not letting up. It is not supposed to stop for at least another 10 hours. Currently we have about 6 inches of new stuff on the ground. When cars drive by, they form wakes in the snow.
This feels sort of like Ragnorak. Isn't that the legend of the apocalypse where the world gets buried in snow? And isn't there supposed to be a giant wolf who shows up at the end and devours everything still alive?
I'll let you know if I see him.

Still snowing. Now it's been going for 12 hours and we've got 9+ inches of fresh snow. Trying to drive home from work in a few hours is going to be fantastic. The car is not going to handle well especially 'cause nothing's been plowed yet. Although...... there is a pet store next to my office. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I borrowed a couple of dogs. Anyone know how to make a dog sled?

well, we have a snow cat...can plow thru 25 feet of drift...
We have dogs and sleds too, but the cat works better

And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

I've got some balmy spring sunshine I'd be willing to trade for dramatic snowfalls.Mortice Root wrote:Ok, back to "end of days" type weather....
