This is awesome! An exact rendering of the author's description of the scene. I can almost imagine Covenant lying there, waving a hand in front of his face and saying "Nope, can't see anything."

More likely a language issue. The caption describes a scene in which someone is in a cave, along with a black creature. There is no light. Therefore, there is nothing to see except blackness.

An equivalent picture would be a plain white square, with the caption "Ghost eating marshmallows in a snow storm."
