Yes, you may have the old lab coat; I have plenty more in various stages of cleanliness.

Presumption is my middle name. Well, technically it isn't...but you know what I mean. I enjoy dancing around in the uncertainty of knowing what I may safely presume and the thrill of stumbling upon thing which I may not safely presume.

Every now and then I have some cool ideas.

That is significantly tame when compared to some creation stories. *ahem*

Now, as it appears that both Hashi and WF suffer from some bout of blushy abashedness, so perhaps Effy will consent to posting some “discussion opener” in the Gallery? I shall slide offline briefly, as Longwrath pried himself loose anew and us warriors must prepare a ship for a dire voyage of an unknown length. It would be preferable to behold something inspiring upon return.

Hashi Lebwohl wrote: Ah, that. Tinkering in the lab with my rTMS helmet (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation--this is a real thing, I didn't make it up) --experimenting on myself, in other words--sometimes gives me synesthesia, thus during those time I perceive the world differently than other people. By that I mean more differently than I usually do.
Effaeldm wrote:Oh, glad for you, synesthesia is fun, I particularly like how the sound of black velvet tastes :D
Interesting, have to read more about rTMS. Thoolahians in particular may mis-estimate the capabilities of LA’ians to comprehend technical texts--in this case the levels of brainpower might be likened to swinging a sword and lifting boulders, but mastering those various battling techniques actually required decades of devoted learning even from Gossamer Glowlimn, our iconic goddess of war elevated next to Sword-Mother Thunderroar. Baf Scatterwit, bless her in her bubbly enthusiasm, once picked up a sword, but forgot two seconds later which was the pointy end and accidentally sliced a fly in two, which upset her tremendously. Hence, we shall see. Of course one can always request further clarifications from the nigh-on omniscient director of data acquisition.

I’ll advice Effy not to taste the sound of brown velvet--it’s like...well...an unmucked stable with its inhabitants two weeks dead. A quirky notion as to why such attributes change through a slight color shift.

Alas, for I am ticklish. Rolling hills and whatnot could undoubtedly be depicted, but nobody enjoys an earthquake while painting.

Effaeldm wrote:...outer dimensions are quite a place when people stalk you with wishes to embrace you and make you watch saop series or discuss cosmetics... surely I won't accuse you of anything similar, Giants are indeed amiable and lovely and won't torture people like that, but old habits die hard  Like in the joke about a pirate who claimed to lose an eye thanks to a fly sitting on it. He just received a hook instead of a hand on the previous day.
Now, are you certain you would not wish to converse about nail extensions by a cup of latte in a celebrity haunt bar? The clawed, glow-in-the dark carious green ones would befit you in a splendid manner...
As to a soap series, what kind of perfume/washing capacities are you looking for? Good ol’ lime soap or something dermatologically tested? What are you going to wash? A squid? A shoggoth’s backside?
Effaeldm wrote:Perhaps you're right, I've heard some sing as if they spend all the time stepping on each other's ears, and those rhymes…
That’s merely the Ironhand after too much Diamondraught, heed her not, her singing surges in quality when she clears the hangover from her vocal chords. I was referring to the ones that discuss make-up and hair conditioners while dressed in pink frills. And who hug anything that moves.
Effaeldm wrote:If I was not clear, I do apologize, I didn't mean to insult anyone here by calling "normal" :) "normal" means not anyone I talk to, but the ones I have to communicate with mostly off the Watch, ones rather not accepting for anything unusual
Ah, I have my Gray Mundanity Switch for that. Regrettably something all of us must handle behind the shelter of Giantess avatars and so forth.
Effaeldm wrote:Oh, can I get the old one? I also want to conduct an experiment .
What? Discover if sapient life has evolved in the 13-year-old sandwich forgotten in one pocket? Or would you like to celebrate its upcoming 14th anniversary by baking a cake?

How presumptuous of you to guees about species like that, does it require a Giantish name - or one you know - to suspect anything?.
I glimpsed at the prototype from afar. A bionic robosuit with which he can alter height, body mass, muscle tone...it all more than implies about urges to court certain someone. Remember to add a hair growth module--Giantesses love beards.

He and I aren't as different as people might think, our discussions in the Tank notwithstanding. Or maybe the two of you simply bring that side of us to the surface.
Frostheart wrote:one can always request further clarifications from the nigh-on omniscient director of data acquisition.
Given our modern technological ability to connect helmets to our head to do things like remotely control a mouse, a keyboard, a virtual hand, a robotic hand, etc. the side-effects of extra magnetic fields near our active brains should be fascinating to track. Use of rTMS on non-artists is known to induce an increase in artistic ability so who knows what other secrets we might uncover?

Are you sure about that? What if that had been the desired result?

The latest trend in cosmetic hair treatments: beard transplants.

Null Vector

There are several meanings of "null vector" in mathematics. The most common usage is the n-dimensional null vector 0 is the n-dimensional vector of length 0 (i.e., the vector with n components, each of which is 0).

A second meaning of null vector when applied to a matrix A is a nonzero vector x with the property that Ax=0.

A third meaning of null vector when applied to a vector (which appears to be slightly nonstandard but is used for example in Mathematica's FindIntegerNullVector function), is a nonzero vector a such that for a given vector x, the dot product satisfies a·x=0.
