Baradakas, of everyone here, I sincerely doubt that Zeph took any offense at your posts.

I think danlo's post almost sums it up for me too, except for the fact that I DO discuss these things, at length. ;)

Not becuase I'm trying to change anyones mind, but because I'm trying to understand everyone's mind.

I certainly hope Zeph reconsiders, for the simple reason that I enjoy his posts here, and enjoy discussing them. However, because my perspective on the issue is completely different to his, I also respect his choice, if he chooses not to participate.

I'd like to throw my voice in with the last three posts, and apologize for offending you zef... I was reacting more to your specific views than christianity as a whole. The christian spirit of love and joy would be sorely missed if it vanished from the world, and true christians are a boon to us all, I think.
With a clearer head, I definately understand the idea of expanding an example into a greater one, to show a point (with the puppies and pliers *shudder*) and of course there were things I did as a child that are truly shame worthy. But since you're on your way out, that's neither here nor there. Keep the faith.
