Damn, you people are crazy! ;)

Sure, I talk to myself all the time. Answer myself too if I've asked a question.

Afterall, intelligent conversation can be hard to find in the real world. :)

I sing to myself

Like Myste, if I'm worrying at a problem I fall into "we" mode. For example:

"So, what are we going to do about this? Hmm...make the call later, after checking that we're covered and not in trouble. Okay, agreed."

I do sing a bit to myself as well, but it tends to be more of a mood thing than anything else - a snatch of tune that expresses what I'm feeling. And only after I've checked no-one else is within earshot :)

My other me throws a lot of "no look" passes to me when he's playing basketball. I suck at basketball, which accounts for the head trauma that enabled me to have another me in the first place. :screwy:

I can beat my alter ego at a lot of things. It is strange because I am also Darth's alter ego. So his alter ego has an alter ego.

I talk to that wimp Banner in my head a lot, and you know what? He can be pretty clever and insightful at times, if you threaten him the right way.

I used to talk to myself a while back,
but I stopped after I got tired of argue-ing with me and
we haven't been on speaking terms since.
(I won most of the time anyway.)

I often have elaborate debates with myself, the "other side" of the debate being my knowledge of how one of my friends might react.

It's amazing how, when I bring up the same subject with them, how similarly things go.

I guess I know them pretty well.

I talk to myself but I've stopped listening, because I decided that basically, I'm full of crap.

Heh heh

Same here. But I find that eating good amounts of fibre helps alleviate that condition.

I do the "we speak", too. I don't think we're crazy, we just like to talk and nobody else is going listening to us. We're fine, and so are you.

Yes, I talk to myself, but in private!

Also to my computer when it crashes. 8O

Beings only talk back to me when I am in a light trance, in active imagination involving my visits to my inner world. So far they have all been sensible and harmonious, and spend their spare times partying in their own ways! (My doctor does not know and I prefer it that way! )

As whether the good spiritual engeries from my own "Inner Land" affect the Earth as we know it, ie. more peace and ecological stewardship, I don't know yet...

Of course I talk to myself. And sing to myself. And yell at the people in the little electronic boxes. Didn't you guys hear me on New Year's Eve, yelling at Regis Philbin to shut up and get off the screen? (Please, gods, let Dick Clark come back next year!)

Oh, btw -- cursing at mechanical and/or electronic objects does not qualify as talking to oneself. You are, in fact, speaking to the device in its native language.

Hey, thanks, Chochiyo. :) That's high praise coming from a true Jester of the Watch like you. I'm just glad my attempt at deadpan humour actually worked and I don't need to apologize and kiss someone's boots.

:) So it should go like this: "Friggin' piece of 011 010! 10010! 110 00!"
