Come on now, you can't hate on The Darkness. Those guys are genius! The Somberlain wrote:The Darkness' cover of Radiohead's Street Spirit.
My friend sent this to me about a month ago now... I'm still seething.

I can, and do, and when they carry out what is tantamount to rape on one of the greatest songs ever written...Cail wrote:Come on now, you can't hate on The Darkness. Those guys are genius! The Somberlain wrote:The Darkness' cover of Radiohead's Street Spirit.

Eh, sorry. I don't think too much of Radiohead. And The Darkness is a spoof band, you can't take them seriously.

Avril Lavigne: American Idiot by Green Day.
seems she has been closing her shows with it.

I'm not a big fan of American Idiot... but Avril doing it? Aughhhh!
For all you Britney haters, Local H covered her song "Toxic" and it's faaaar superior to the original

Pie and Cake
Eh?I can, and do, and when they carry out what is tantamount to rape on one of the greatest songs ever written...
Don't get me wrong, I know Street Spirit & it's a fine song (in a miserable sort of way) but good on The Darkness! Radiohead could do with lightening up. Someone outta tell 'em that no-one ever drowned in shallow water!
'We Have All The Time In The Worrld' by Louis Armstrong, for example, is a far finer song.

I'll just go back to my surly-corner

I just don't like them, and fail to see what the fuss is all about. They're just another woe-is-me band as far as I'm concerned.
