Rydnick - you gotta use a New Zulland accint, but yeah - my passing nod to "Sawyer"...

I'm sure that if you had asked for something that
couldn't be done, Xar would have informed you.
Remember though that not only do you have to wait for the next turn for anything that you arranged in the previous one to happen, but if you're telling people to do things, they might or might not work out as you expected. People have free will.

My main difficulty is the whole cleric/religion side of things...my temple is nature, and my worshipers are Greenies and environmentalists...
oh yeah, and mirror-hugging witches & warlocks!

I just missed this last deadline. I lost track of when it was due, and didn't have time to make any big decisions anyway. Can't let that happen often!! heh

Well, it looks like this turn will give everyone lots of things to worry about...

I honestly don't see how I'm supposed to cope with this, Xar. With only one divine rank point, and at least three distinct situations which require immediate attention, I don't know how I can get through this without damaging my campaign.
I understand I could do small things without putting the points into them, but what is gonig on at the minute I don't think can be dealt with that easily.

Well, nobody said being a god would be easy. You need to set priorities, of course, and direct small actions in hopes they work as planned. But remember you're not alone in the pantheon; and even though most of the deities seem to suddenly have problems themselves, there are still those who might be willing to offer help in case you need it.
As a piece of advice, especially at this level of the game, when each of you is still too weak to deal with all that is going on, you might want to set priorities, even if it means suffering a little in the short run. If you have some of your worshipers acting in a manner contrary to your teachings, but on the other hand you have an army descending on your town, don't try to fix both; concentrate on one (supposedly the town

) and leave the worshipers for the next time. Just as there are turns in which all hell breaks loose, there are turns in which nothing much happens, and you can deal with those lesser problems like annoying schismatic followers and the like. As you grow in power, you'll be able to devote yourself to more things at the same time, but as of now, you're a new, young and inexperienced god, still unable to split his power so many ways.
I'm sure you'll do fine, Murrin

I hope in that case that my latest choices have not spread myself too thinly, in your opinion? Choosing to deal with several things and ignore one large one may not have been the best decision, but I saw benefit in this course.
I do however believe I'm beginning to get a grip on the risks and benefits of acting more often in smaller matters.

Well, you have to do what you feel is best; as I mentioned more than once, choices may have unintended consequences, so you can never know exactly what will happen as a result of your interventions. In any case, even a large mistake won't be enough to do you in, so don't worry excessively. I'm sure you'll get to divine middle age

Is that meant to imply you think I've made an inadvertant mistake? Heh.

No, it's meant to imply you shouldn't worry too much about whether you did the right thing or not... *pats on the shoulder*

Haha. Oh, I'm not really worrying, it's just I'm not sure what I can say when everyone else asks "what was so important you ignored the fscking demon horde?"

That's the moment when you look confused, scratch your head, and ask "Demon horde? Which demon horde? Why am I always the last one to learn about stuff?!"

I didn't choose to be the Goddess of Nature for nothing, y'all. What better resource can I have at my beck and call than the very forces of the planet?
Just show me the rift, and let me at it - you guys do your 'guy thing' by disposing of the rabble demon horde. Oh, for a bit of fun, you wanna try and drive them into the rift just as I'm filling it with lava?
I'm not bloodthirsty....
much!

That looks about the right size.
Just cut the address from your sig, (the bit between the [image tags] ), and go to your profile from the menus below the banner. Scroll to the bottom, and pate the addy into the field for the "off-site" avatars.
